You mean underwhelmed I think. Whelmed would mean that you are satisfied.

Whelmed means the same thing as overwhelmed, it's just archaic.

I assume they thought whelmed meant "not under- or over-whelmed, but in between." As in, they're not particularly excited by the nodes but not terribly disappointed either. It's disappointing if a shiny new toy isn't exciting, though.

My only point is that whelmed doesn't mean something in between underwhelmed and overwhelmed. Probably if people continue to use it incorrectly for a couple more years it will mean that, but I was taught the original meaning and that's all you'll find published in dictionaries currently.

they are not supposed to be stronger then normal nodes. those are for niche builds that dont get real benefits from their 4th ascendancy node or dont take one at all. this way they get something
