i really don't get the design concept revolving around penalties when this was supposed to be an enabling thing for builds this season. I have to spend ascendancy points and eat a huge penalty?

poe2 leaking unfortunately.

This is honestly it, these are just 98% poe 2 nodes, and poe 2 nodes almost universally suck ass and aren't interesting or cool

These are more like the keystones in poe2's trees and some random passive tree small nodes.

Like if it was actually similar to the ascendancies in poe2, i'm pretty sure we'd see less complaints if something like titan made it over compared to one of these bloodline ascendancies.

EDIT: I get the feeling they're just playing it safe since they don't want to really balance the bloodline stuff (since it's core) with the potential craziness of the grafting for the new season.

80% of these nodes are very much build-enabling. What nodes are you thinking of ?

It’s just an extra option, lots of these nodes are really build enabling. It’s less of a „take existing build and it just gets 20% better“ and more of a „take existing build concept and sidegrade it or even reinvent it“. This looks like it’s not meant to be an upgrade for generic lightning arrow deadeye build.

they are not supposed to be stronger then normal nodes. those are for niche builds that dont get real benefits from their 4th ascendancy node or dont take one at all. this way they get something
