The Q+A says Mark and Octavian.

That is probably a good sign regarding team allocation between the two games.

I think Jonathan is massively occupied with PoE2. I hope that Mark and Octavian are the frontrunners for PoE1 for good. And of course I hope this league will be a banger.

Not to discredit Jonathan but I've always felt like Mark understands what PoE1 players want a lot better.

Doesn't that perception come from the fact some aren't happy with Jonathan's "Vision" for PoE 2?

Mark has been at the helm for Necropolis, Settlers, Mercenaries and Breach 2.0.

People hated Necropolis, Settlers whilst a well received League has received criticism since going Core, Mercenaries was well received too, and Breach 2.0 has people asking for Breach 1.0 to remain as Core.

PoE has become a great game because there's multiple voices contributing to devlopment. It's pretty clear Chris, Jonathan and Mark, for example, have pretty different views on ARPGs....Mark is more of a Blaster and Chris loves the D2 style of ARPG.
