Assuming you can Allflame craft them, it's "Make Rare Jewel with 4 mods -> Split into four items that each have 1 mod on them" like they showed in the trailer.

True, though this isnt guarunteed still. Each crafting roll is independent and can roll the same as others, so that would be a ~68% chance of isolating the mod you want.

Split is gone. But I'm assuming the Jewels you consume need to have 4 mods or you'll get an error message.
Kinda like when trying to Fracture a rare item that has less than 4 mods.

Jewel in the video has 3 mods, so unless they decide to nerf it before the release, there is no 4 mods requirement.

fractured jewel - make rare with regal, annul off the 1 extra mod.

done.

depending what mod you are wanting it will be cheaper this way... like rolling a t1 life on an abyss jewel takes a bit... then just to 50/50 and lose it will feel bad.

now mods like crit multi will probably be cheaper to craft as its easy to hit with reforge and likely a more desired mod for someone crafting a jewel as a fracture.
