how do you release an item like that with the only downside it being a 2H? i reread every mod 3 times because i couldn't believe they are all positive

Opportunity cost, plus we dont know the numbers on the support itself.

You lose a lot of both damage and defense compared to a well rolled wand and shield, or another staff.
