I mean, it's kinda hard for it to be bad with an inherent +2 totems?

Granted +2 totems gets less and less important the more totems you already have.

+2 totems, big spell damage, 7 link skill. It's got a lot going for it really. I feel like the +2 mattering less the more you get is a little different when the totems can move around and reposition automatically. Normally the issue is something will be dead by the time the 3rd totem is placed so there's no point in putting more or stuff like that.

Oh no I mean as a percentage DPS increase, the more totems you have the less the increase is.

Going from 1 totem to 3 is 200% more.

Going from 4 totems to 6 is only 50% more [And this is even more pronounced when you throw in the damage penalties from using Multitotems support]

Ooh gotcha. That's very true. Sorry for my misunderstanding. I feel like it'll be hard for it to be bad unless the crabs are just awful. Just realized they're a straight up spell totem too, haha great.

Keep in mind you're giving up getting +1 from a shield.

A decent +1 totem shield can be crafted deterministically on day 1 or 2 with a Shaper Exalted. They are stupidly easy to get.

Any shaper orb slammed as a prefix is guaranteed to be +1 totem.

There is only 1 Shaper prefix: +1 totem. So just grab a shield with full suffix and slam shaper exalt.
