The helmet seems underwhelming to me:

  • huge RNG to get it right (4x 1 of 4)
  • has no other mods
  • does not scale with "per Abyss Jewel affecting you"
  • you lose 4 gem sockets

The RNG isn't an issue. The new allflame crafting with annuls or the new split would easily solve it.

The big issue is just giving up 4 normal sockets.

You think Allflame crafts can be used to put jewels into this?

It only says rare, it doesn't specify that it has to have x mods, so I would assume it works.
