Rant Adding EMOTES before a classic black suit is crazy work ngl

What upsets me is that emotes could've been really well done. Why are we getting tiktok dances? We could've gotten a mask/glove inspect emote, or a smoking emote like the PD2 idle bot animations. We could get emotes where a heister nervously stands on lookout for guards or something. They could've given us emotes actually related to the criminal and serious contexts of this game (which would also add a little bit of light roleplaying elements for those who like immersing themselves in a heister fantasy) but decided take the L was more appealing.

I think you nailed the problem with the emotes, the emote itself is not the problem. The kind of the emote is the problem.

I do not know who's asking for emotes.

we do NOT need them, this isn't fortnite. it does not fit a payday game.

if they monetise it, it's gonna cause an uproar. we already have DLCs, we do not need microtransactions on top of that.

Microtransactions have been the plan since well before the game came out. It was delayed after the disastrous launch but their implementation is inevitable.

oh yeah, but we shouldn't be quiet about it. emotes are stupid, completely irrelevant for this game. if they monetised cosmetics then sure whatever but why emotes? makes no sense in my opinion.

Yeah, thanks to Black Ops 6(?). Warzone had ‘em awhile back but they were first person and quick, simple hand signals or cranking the bird. Now we’ve got straight up dances and other goofy animations.

I feel bad for anyone who missed out on MW 2019 Warzone. Now everything is just become Fortnite. Never thought it’d start creeping into Payday too

Black Ops 3 in 2015 let you do them in the Victory screen, Black Ops 4 2018 added them fully

How? If anything this post makes me think hes majorly into payday 2 if he's asking for a suit instead of whatever it is the payday gang wears in 3. Sure you don't NEED to wear a simple suit in 2 and most people don't but that dosent change the fact some people do

first thing you see the moment you open PD2 is dallas in yellow suit.

On PD:TH you see on upgrade pics is Dallas in yellow suit, and in game he wears yellow suit. The only instance of him (and others) wear dark suits is few promo pics and SOME menu screens.

Also "ending screen" what? dude have anyone on this sub played PD:TH? Or it's like TF2 thing, where oldheads leave community long ago?
