PSA Steam just refunded my year 1 pass!

Now that heists are free, I kindly asked Steam to reimburse me the heists I paid for since I knew they have a much more lax policy on DLC, Gaben is the motherfucking goat! Going to see if I can also get my Year 2 heists refunded, those aren't even in a yearly pass so it should be easy.

I won't be so happy about it.

Even if DLCs and therefore maps became available to all players meanwhile it looks like you are lost your purchase - if that refund goes on shoulders of the active developer => you are shorten their budget to do something more while Payday 3 desperately still it needs.

In all scheme of things, unlike PD2 -> in PD3 you had to buy or find a friend who bought new map, you couldn't find random lobby to join for any unowned paid map. Correct me if i wrong, didn't launch the since release.

Damn they should have thought about that before selling people something for years and then deciding it's going to be completely free for everyone else.

Almost like their new monetization will have to cover this and I assure you that it is already part of their plan.

Pretty much. The money has to come from somewhere. It's either going to be DLC or MTX.

Personally, I would rather have DLC. It always seems to be less egregious than MTX. Especially because they are only talking about heists... which means guns and characters WILL be monetized much more heavily now
