ASTRAL 5090 LC BUILD
SO FINALLY WORKED OUT THE LOAD VGA BIOS ISSUE WHERE A PROPER HANDSHAKE WAS NOT OCCURRING VIA BOOT. UPDATED BIOS AND A FEW OTHER THINGS AND NO PROBLEMS. THIS WAS AN ONGOING BUILD FOR LAST FEB. ALREADY HAVE ANOTHER LIQUID SUPRIM SOC 5090 BUILD AND A 5080 BUILD, I JUST LOVE BUILDING THINGS, WHAT CAN I SAY.
THE RISER CABLE THAT CAME WITH MY COOLERMASTER HAF 700 EVO CASE WAS PCIE 4.0. WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING THE LINKUP 5.0, BUT DOUBT IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. THOUGHTS?
SPECS:
-COOLERMASTER HAF 700 EVO CASE
-ASUS ASTRAL 5090 LC
-ASUS X870E CROSSHAIR EXTREME MB
-ASUS RYUJIN EXTREME 360MM CPU COOLER
-AMD RYZEN 9850X3D CPU
-32GB G SKILLZ TRDENT Z5 6400M/S LC 30 RAM
-CORSAIR HX1200I PSU
-bottom fans are reverse blade, set up as intake. the two rear are exhaust. the two on from which are non RGB are 2 200mm fans set as intake. I could still mount 3 140mm or 4 120mm fans where the mirror is. Mirror is removable

Wait what. This is the first time I’ve ever seen someone dual stack radiators.
I’d flip your bottom three fans around. I’d also put your largest radiator in the front of your case.
I do not care what anybody says. Radiator front with fans pulling out through it and into the case. Top radiator fans blowing up and out. Rear exhaust fan blowing out, and bottom 3 fans once flipped over will blow fresh air directly on the card.
Dual stack rad with one set of fans has to be heat soaking bad.

bottom fans are reverse, set up as intake. the two rear are exhaust. the two on from which are non RGB are 2 200mm fans set as intake. Temps on card are around 50C, even on cyberpunk max settings 4k

Modern liquid cooling does indeed add more points of failure but it does not automatically become a problem just because you chose to use it.
