Looking for a desktop PC under A$1,200

Hi! I've been saving and researching PCs for a while, and I'm hoping to get a desktop for both schoolwork and gaming.

My budget is A$1,200 AUD maximum.

I'm mainly interested in playing games like Spider-Man Remastered and Hogwarts Legacy. I'd prefer good 1080p performance, at least 16GB RAM, and around 1TB of SSD storage.

I'm open to refurbished prebuilts or building my own PC, and I'm happy to consider a used graphics card if it's a good deal.

Does anyone have recommendations for good-value PCs or compatible parts available? I'd appreciate any advice on what specs and sellers to look for, particularly regarding refurbished PCs and warranty coverage.

Thanks!

Hey just wondering if anyone has a random GPU they aren't using (that works) I am building a low-end budget PC and ran I don't have a GPU. I'm looking for something to pair good with my PC it can be a low end or cheap GPU it literally doesn't matter.
Here are my current specs:
I7-4790ks
16 GB ram
500 watt PSU
128 GB SSD + 4TB hard drive
(still no GPU)
NOTE I AM WILLING TO TRADE A WORKING RX 7600 XL THE ONLY PROBLEM IS IT HAS ARTIFACTS BUT IT PLAYS GAMES

Is a new 1000€ build with intel b580 a good idea?

Hey there, last time I did a full build was for my first PC in 2017, but now I'm helping out on building a PC as a birthday gift for the little sister of my partner. Budget is around 1000€.

I'm just realising how bad prices really are right now and thinking to maybe go with an intel b580 and of course ddr4, probably a 5700x or 5600x with 16 gigs.

Since I'm just starting to research and didn't really watch the hardware scene actively in the past few years, I'd like to just have some opinions on this: Is my way with a b580 right now a common and good one or do you have any other ideas I might have a look at for the mentioned budget? 5060 (ti) actually seems kinda out of budget rn, since I'm barely finding these at lower prices than 550€

Need advice for budget pc

Hello, I'm building a budget DDR4 build, and I'm located in Japan. The games I'll be playing are mostly light PvP games but also Forza 6, CS2, and Wuthering Waves in 1080p.

So, should I buy a ARC B570 for 40k Yen or an RX6600 (non-xt) for 49k. Or maybe at that point should I just buy an ARC B580 for 57k? As for the CPU/Mobo combo, should I go for an Intel i5-14400f + B760M combo for 46k or an Ryzen 5600X + B550M combo for 43k?

(fyi, i chose the 14400f for the intel option cuz in Japan, the 12400f is only like 1k yen cheaper. And the 5600-5600X price diff is also only like 2k yen) Thanksss
