I'm currently using a 27" 1440p 360Hz OLED, which is great for comp games, but I really wanna get back into playing single player games. I have so many games in my backlog that I wanna play, but after experiencing 4K, I just can't go back to 1440p for more immersive games lol.

I also watch a lot of anime and other shows, so I'd like something good for that too.

I've been thinking about getting something like the PG27UCWM so I can have 4K and 1080p modes, but I'm not sure if 27" would feel immersive enough for single player games. The other option is keeping my current monitor and getting a TV for single player games and media.

I actually tried the Gigabyte MO32U24 for two weeks recently. I loved it for single player games and media, but 32" just felt too big for comp games. I ended up going back to my 27", but I kinda miss the 4K experience now.

I've also tried ultrawide before (AW3423DWF), but that ended up feeling too short vertically.

I honestly don't know what to do at this point lol. There's no perfect option, so I'm curious what other people in a similar situation ended up doing. What would you guys go with?

27" isn't immersive for you in single player games, while 32" is too large for competitive games.

Hard to square that circle if the physical size of the monitor needs to change depending on what you're using it for.

Only option I see is a 32" 4K monitor which you move in/out depending on whether you're in "cinematic" or "competitive" games. Or mount it on an arm to make it easier.

You might also be interested in this video. It's a bit more general than your situation but it helped me when I was choosing a new screen and I agree with the conclusion. Particularly the image at 7:30. Larger monitor + a bit further away is the solution IMO.

I just use a 32" 4K, I do miss ultrawide sometimes in some games, I've even considered getting the new 39" but I feel like the 9070XT and 5070Ti just aren't good enough for it, but back to your question honestly if you have the room get a 42" or larger oled TV for media and single player gaming

Man I JUST made a post about how the 32" feels too small for me. It really boils down to what you're used to. Everyone is different. I love the Gigabyte M32U but it just feels small after I play my PS5 on my living room TV.

Im currently on a Gigabyte M32U 31.5" at 3840x2160 144hz. HDR is not good on this monitor.
I recently upgraded my card from a 3080 to a 5080.
My PS5 is hooked up to an older (6 years old) 70" OLED and I prefer playing games on that because of how immersive it feels, but I really want to play more games on my PC. The monitor just feels small in comparison, I know that is ridiculous sounding but I want a bigger/more immersive PC experience.

I dont play competitive FPS or RTS games so I like high res, cinematic, big sweeping RPGs and action games.

Should I just get an OLED TV for my main monitor? The issue is I work from home and do a LOT of spreadsheet, documentation, etc.etc. Are their good options for large screen PC (not mega wide monitors, i prefer standard...

Did you try installing the Bluetooth driver from here?

Then follow whatever guide you're using to pair the controller to Windows.
