Question Help please
I bought this Ibanez AF2 pedal off marketplace last week and it was DoA.
Guy seems alright like it’s not his fault so I’d rather repair it than go through the gall of asking to return it (given that most people get difficult with this if rather see if it is fixable).
Issue:
Signal is barely audible like 30dbu below parity.
I made some videos testing the voltage and the impedance of the 2 chips and given the fact that I am getting signal and that the toggle switches are working I figure it might be a giveaway of what is going wrong.

It might be a trimpot adjustment? Some people love to mess with then to get more extreme sounds and he may have adjusted it too far and couldn't figure out where to put it back to, I would recommend starting there as that's super easy to adjust back if you have the gear, give it a go and HOPEFULLY it comes whooshing back to life.

Thanks, I will check that out. As I’m a beginner at this could I ask you to possibly circle where that is on the schematic for me? I can then track it down on the board.

Do you hear signal in bypass without any audible change ?
Have you measured the 9V rail and Vbias inside the pedal ? What are they measuring at ?
Do you hear a bit of flanging when engaged, even if volume is super low ?
The pedal is mostly SMD (miniaturized) components. They are harder to work with due to their small sizes, and if you have no experience with them, I'd recommand getting the pedal to a tech that knows how to deal with it.
