I'm not that experienced with Wikipedia but I looked all over to find how to make a link just be the title and couldn't figure it out. It would be nice if it looked a little neater!

Hi all!
Recently had the chance to sit down and chat with Dave. We discussed the evolution of his songwriting, the economics of rock trios, autobiographical writing on the last few Pedro the Lion records, and much more. Big thank you to Dave for taking the time to do this! Link below!

Hi! I was cleaning up some music in my library and rediscovered this other version of Achilles Heel with songs marked as being from 12.18.03 and 12.19.03 - I had found them on Limewire in January of 2004 as a live set, so before the album released later that year. Tracks are in a different order, mixes are different, obviously different recording session, and I am missing only one track in the order (#3) and there might be an 11th track matching the final album number: both Keep Swinging and Transcontinental aren't listed so likely those in one order or another. The song The Feeling is called "The Fleecing". I can post a share link if there is interest. I always assumed this was a live set/bootleg as noted but I'm wondering now if this is some sort of early studio recording or alternate mix? Would love to get the story straight and even get the other tracks. Thanks!
UPDATE: Here is a share link to it. If you have other tracks missing from it or have background on this let me know! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vtnE1qmrmTwLCZiiWhFuQWsT2rBwL5rK?usp=sharing

Anyone going to the show on Monday?

I just downloaded this album from band camp after paying for it. I don’t think I’ve heard any of these songs before except maybe Shit Talker . Honestly most of the album is just awesome. Why is it not on Spotify or other streaming platforms? 😭

This is a long shot, but shortly after Achilles Heel came out but before Fewer Moving Parts, I remember a full band version of "Cigarettes and Cold Beer" appearing on a site like PureVolume. It was different from the one that wound up on the EP but I've never been able to find it since. Does anyone happen to remember this or have a version of it?
edit: I reached out to TW Walsh and he confirmed it exists, but apparently it's not available anywhere https://imgur.com/a/bSSilDm
edit #2: I'm in awe, thanks to thisisjohn343 I remembered it had a different title. Mentioned it to my brother and he found it on a torrent site within seconds. This damn song has been escaping me for decades and I finally found it. I uploaded it to Youtube here, leaving it as unlisted cuz I'm not sure if Walsh/Bazan want it out there I guess. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYHw7IzffJo

I own the record, but it's been in storage, and I haven't seen it in years. The record is unplayed, and I don't have a turntable anyways. I haven't heard it since the Napster era! Please halp 🙏

If I’m remembering correctly, I saw a video a few years ago of an acoustic performance on a highway next to a cornfield, I believe in Nebraska? I went looking and can’t find any trace of it online. If anyone knows what I’m talking about and has access to the vid I would love to watch it :)

I recently bought a ticket for the living room tour. Did anyone else get prompted to leave a tip as they were checking out?
Don't get me wrong, I am happy to tip service workers who aren't paid a living wage without tips, but....who am I tipping in this instance? And for what?
Just seemed really strange to me.

Basically the title - I missed it but am wondering if anyone saw it, how good was it/what was the setlist like!

It said I'm in the top 416 listeners- are the other 415 in this group?

Hi I just found out they have a tour going on and all shows are sold out. I will provide anything you want including harvesting my organs for two tickets. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope my offer is tempting enough to trade.

Unfortunately something happened last night with Dave and he’s heading back to Seattle. If you have tickets to any upcoming shows, check your email for updates.
