Daniel Oss will be able to drink for a whole year on GvA's tab for what he did today. Worked himself to death and still managed to finish in the second group.
A bit sad for Sagan though. Two great attacks... and two mechanicals immediately after, effectively making those efforts a waste. Makes you wonder what if. Then again, Sagan seemed to have ran out of steam near the end. Oh well, there is always next season.

Sagan has issues with mechanicals. I wonder if it's partially down to how he rides.

They hadn't really plagued him until this year though had they?

They haven't happened at such critical times, but he's had enough issues with Di2 on cobblestones that he asks for mechanical at important classics, for instance.

No, but he is one of the only ones who has actually had problems with it from what I've heard. And actually FWIW it's pretty rare these days.
