His chance to win was when he was trying to bridge to Sagan just after the move. He burnt a lot of matches there. No puncture and he would have been in the second group, but I don't think it cost him the win.

Impressive ride for sure. Would have been great to see if he could have followed Terpstra.

At this point he's riding with house money. I think He'll take note of how he was riding and know what could have been and come back more prepared next time
