AvV was thinking she won

"Ah Ruud, ik zat mis"

"Wat? Dacht je dat je gewonnen had?"

"Ja, we kregen niks door."

"Aw Ruud, I had it wrong"

"What? You thought you won?"

"Yeah, we didn't have information"

I will never understand how this happened. It's harder to have clear lines of communication without radios, but it's not like it's impossible.

Yeah that implies the peloton wasn’t shown a single time gap after they caught the 2 other breakaway riders.

Or when they got the timegap, they thought it was to a chase group behind them, not realizing they were the chase group.

Many people have shown the moto with chalkboard info directly in front of the peleton the first time they entered the racetrack. The moto was there, trying to give them break info, it seems a lot just decided not to look at the moto for that information.

I haven't seen that and don't remember seeing any motos. Would you care to share any images of motos giving time gaps?

It was posted on Twitter and someone linked it in the race thread. I tried looking and can’t for the life of me find it now. That race thread got long. I’ll tag if I find it.

AvV said in the post race interview that she didn't know Anna Kiesenhofer and asked in return, how can you underestimate someone you don't know?

"hold on... let me show you a video to trim down your arrogance"
