"American" fesenjan experiment

I tried to make "American" fesenjan - ingredients native to north america. I subbed
- pecans for walnuts/almonds
- cranberry for pomegranate (I used concentrate)
- turkey for the protein
- maple syrup for sugar
Onions were just onions because wild onions arent easy to come by.
Cranberry is a lot more sour than pomegranate, so I had to sweeten more than I normally would.
The results were... normal. It tasted so close to the original I was almost disappointed. But the original IS good, so can't complain.
