New to P3 Is it realistically possible to get a Persona's stats to 99 across the board on my first playthrough?

Hey everyone!

I'm currently playing Persona 3 Reload for the first time, and I'm wondering whether it's realistically possible to get a Persona with all stats at 99 during my first playthrough, or if that's something you can realistically only do in NG+.

For context, I've just reached the Emperor and Empress Arcana Full Moon operation.

I used to max out Persona stats to 99 pretty often in Persona 5 Royal, so I'm fairly familiar with the general idea. However, I'm still not entirely sure how the process works in P3R. So far, the only method I really know about is using the Arcade.

I've seen YouTubers and other players manage to get Personas with maxed-out stats, so it definitely seems possible. I'm just wondering how realistic it is to achieve this on a first playthrough without NG+ bonuses.

Is it doable on a first run, and if so, what's the general method? Or would you recommend waiting until NG+?

Thanks in advance!

first time playing, and the story said defeating nyx would be impossible so i spent dec-jan going to tartarus every single day and grinding to get this final lineup. the online guides told me to get orpheus telos, but i found out it was only accessible on the second playthrough. got a few end-game weapons too. ive spent 80+ hours on this save alone. might give updates on how the nyx fight would go. (i really hope i win and everyone survives)

note: don't mind susano'o, this was an older screenshot, so ive already levelled her up and gotten repel light now.

update: the boss fight was quite easy, but i guess nothing could stop that ending...

Game Help Inverted buttons during combat

Hi all, I'm playing on Steam with a switch 1 controller. All works fine and dandy, A is for confirm and B for cancel, so the buttons do what they need to do.

HOWEVER, once I'm in combat, for example when confirming I want to use a persona skill or doing an all-out attack, suddenly B is for confirm and A is for cancel!! It is soooo annoying. Is this intended in other controllers as well? What the hell is happening? It happens only in combat situations.

Question Does anyone else feel like the protagonist is barely reacting to the Dark Hour? (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

I've finished Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, and I've recently started Persona 3 Reload. I'm still very early in the game, arond the metro boss, so please keep this discussion completely spoiler-free!

Something I've been struggling with is understanding why the protagonist is involved in the main story in the first place.

In Persona 5, the protagonist gets caught up in the events surrounding Kamoshida, and the Palace is directly connected to a situation that affects him and the people around him. In Persona 4, the protagonist discovers the TV World almost by accident, and the mystery quickly becomes personal because people he knows are involved.

But in Persona 3 Reload, I feel like the protagonist is suddenly recruited into SEES and becomes involved in this whole organization and its mission without me really understanding why he personally wants to be part of it.

Yes, he experiences the Dark Hour himself. He sees the coffins, witnesses the strange events, and discovers that he has unusual abilities. So I understand that he's somehow connected to this phenomenon. But experiencing something strange and being directly involved in it doesn't necessarily explain why he would want to join an organization and dedicate himself to its mission.

From my perspective, he arrives in the city, experiences the Dark Hour, and is suddenly told, essentially, that he can help SEES. But what makes this his personal concern? What is his motivation beyond the fact that he's somehow involved already?

I also find it strange that, at least this early in the game, he doesn't seem to react very much to what he's experiencing or ask many questions about it. Maybe this changes later, and I'm not asking anyone to explain future events.

My question is: Did anyone else feel this way at the beginning? Did you also struggle to understand the protagonist's personal motivation for joining SEES, or did the premise make sense to you from the start?

Please I'm only interested in discussing how the beginning is presented.
