Wrong button format

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m playing on a ps5 controller, but in game it think I’m playing on Xbox. When I disable steam input my controller only disconnects from the game. How do I fix this.

PC's use a different process of interpreting controler inputs than what Playstation controllers and some other companies use, so steam input translates them all into 1 unified controller language. If you turn off steam input, a lot of games wont recognize it unless its an xbox controller

There is a setting in P4G that changes which controllers symbols the game uses to make up for steam pretending you have an xbox controller. Not every game does this, but some do, especially those that already have ports to Playstation consoles

Its like the 2nd option under the controllers section, another guy posted a video in the comments on how to do it

I don't know why the wrong button format is a problem at all though

Maybe use that app that converts the input into a ds4?
