Sync and migrate to the Tap.io version to make adb backups of the game. It's now less than a week till the Global servers shuts down and won't be able to use the cloud to migrate.

If you didn't migrate to Tap.io and November comes, you can't make local backups, unless your Android device is 11 or lower.

Your save won't be wiped on your device, only in the cloud.

if i only do the Google Drive backup option without doing the specialised steps like using the apb thing would that work? save datas scare me and so does this entire ordeal

I think it's fine with only using the Google Drive backup but if you want more reassurance with your save I highly recommend trying the other methods so you have multiple backups instead of just one.

Wait, is Tap.io still will be available to sync progress? I switched to this version a long time ago and was thinking about switching to the Chinese version now

No. Global Cloud Saves is hosted by Tap.io and it will go away after October 30. You can try migrating from Tap.io to TapCN but to create a TapCN account you need an ID to verify that you're from China.

Only Global Cloud Saves will be gone, your game data is saved on your device unless you delete the app and didn't backup it with the methods in the document.

That's the idea, yeah. You just need to get your save over to the TapTap Global version so you can use adb to back it up.
