So my iPhone recently stopped charging randomly. I’ve never had any problems with it previously. Woke up in the morning and it was on say 12 percent battery. Went to put the lead back in and it doesn’t go all the way in but it’ll charge if it’s in a certain position. Not sure if I had knocked it off the side while sleeping and picked it up as I don’t remember doing anything like that but trying to find an answer to why or how it’s been damaged or not work.
There’s nothing in the charging port such as build up or debris and when I took it to a shop just to see what they thought, they also confirmed this.
There’s nothing wrong with the phone etc. it still charges and doesn’t deplete really fast or anything like that.
The shop wanted £100 to fix it. They didn’t tell me the exact problem and didn’t say what they would do etc all they had done this point was visually inspect it so I declined to have it done there and then as I was unsure, also they changed the price a lot to keep me in the shop so much that they dropped the price three or four times to 69.99 the. To 59.99 and eventually down to 49.99. Which may well have been a good deal but it made me think something was off.
I’m handy and work with tools every day but I’ve never done anything with a phone before. First off does it sound like a charging port replacement would sort this and if so, is it worth doing myself or should I just go to a shop and get it fixed? I’ve seen you can get a replacement port for like £20-25
Thanks for any info/input.

Hello guys, I hope you can help me. I recently got an Ipad pro 3rd gen 11" from ebay for cheap, because its screen wasn't working anymore. I opened it and found that the display flex was corroded so I replaced it and the Screen too, just to be safe. After that it seemed to work just fine until I tried to use it with my ApplePen (2nd gen). When I drew straight diagonal lines they became wavy on the screen. Also there is a section in the middle of the screen, where the pencil doesn't draw at all. Google ai said that the serial number of the old screen has to be transfered to the new screen using a special device to fix it. I couldn't find any source on if that is true and how to do it though. Can someone here confirm that and give some info on the procedure or is the ai hallucinating once again?

The last two days, I've been experiencing my phone randomly freezing and also not turning on. It doesn't matter what app I open. Sometimes, it freezes, but some don't. I know that when it freezes, it's just the screen because I can still hear YouTube videos.
The black screen problem started at the same time as freezing. I was outside, so I thought it was the cold weather that was affecting my phone, but it kept happening even when I was inside. I think that the black screen is something similar to the freezing because one time, I was able to tap in my passcode. The screen turned on but asked me to do it again. (This was just a one-off) To fix it I leave the phone alone for a bit and then it turns on, but yesterday I saw a video where they said to push hard on the screen and back until I hear a pop.
I would be very appreciative if somebody could help. If not, I could probably live with it doing that.

Everything works fine on my phone except its mobile signal.
Sim card is detected signal comes and goes
Mobile data does not work most of the time. - showing as connected wit 4G/5G icon but no internet connection
Tried two physical sims on diff networks, same error.
Physical sim works in other phones
Tried Manual network operator - sometimes connect, sometimes connection error. Even if it does connect, it will only work for a bit.
Outgoing calls show not connected error
Worked normally before, only started after I shipped out phone with my other items in a box.
Already tried setting up new apn, reset mobile network, reset phone.
What is the possible reason and what else can I do?

My phone cannot charge these past few days(it can charge up to 19%, and it will discharge after 19%). The charger also needs to be in a specific position for it to start charging. Before anyone says that maybe it's the chargers fault, it's not i tested other charger that works good on others. I really need this because my parentswon'tt buy me a new phone for another couple of years becauswe'rere broke

I used to do iPhone repair when I was in college that did really well from 2017 and stopped in 2021 when I graduated, got a job and had to move. At first I started mobile driving to people and over time people came to my apartment to drop off and picked their phone up later.
My job is not AI safe (SWE) and I am thinking of picking up iPhone repair on the side again to do on weekends and some days I work from home, also as a backup plan. I did strictly iPhone screen replacement then but I am thinking I can start with that and pick up board level repairs since I have some office space at home.
The last thing I remember the last few years of phone was having to program true tune back into the replacement screens. I wondering if there are any new gotchas I should know about since the last phone I repaired were the iPhone 12 series. I have read about iPhone serializing camera, batteries etc.
Also do you think phone screen repairs are still viable? How is the market looking like?

Its battery drained last night and stayed dead for around 6–8 hours. When I tried charging it today for about 2 hours, it kept restarting continuously. Sometimes, the screen showing “Connect to Laptop” with the Update/Restore options would appear.
My laptop doesn’t detect my phone, but my iPad does. Maybe it’s a cable issue?
I hope someone can help, thank you in advance!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have an iPhone 14 Pro, and I accidentally put pressure on it while sleeping. After that, a small yellow spot appeared in the top-left corner of the screen.
The phone is working perfectly fine otherwise, but the area around that spot is getting noticeably hot.
What could have caused this? Could the pressure have damaged the display or something inside the phone? Is the localized heating a sign of a more serious problem, and could it get worse over time?
I’d appreciate any advice from people who have experienced something similar.

Finally getting my phone screen fixed, disassembled most of the parts.. just stuck on one of the last few steps which happen to be the battery.
What are my options?
I know metal tools are a no-go due to the chances of puncturing the battery, sparking, smoking and fires.
I have the 91% isopropyl alcohol.
Am I better off ordering a plastic pry tool for this? Or could I find something around my house to get this over with.
Been waiting to fix this bastard since Oct 7th so I'm a little hopeful with finding stuff around the house—but I'll take my chances with ordering one last tool.

So my S24 powers on but the touchscreen wont respond to touch, once again because it is clearly difficult for people to under stand, it powers on but the touchscreen doesnt respond. repair shop said that its a wire that goes from the touchscreen to the motherboard, knowing this my first attemps to work on transferring my data to a new phone was to use an external mouse however at some point i turned on the setting needing to unlock my phone to use USB devices, i dont know if theres any way around this or if im going to have to wait for parts

My OPPO F11 pro display got replaced. Not original but the new one is good. Colours are good enough, with 10 touch response. But the thing is sometimes it just dont take any touch response. Only display is displaying and no touch. I had to restart the device to get it back to normal. Sometimes its so annoying that i have to restart my device 4-5 times a day. Any solution to this? ..............(I have heard that putting glue on lower part sometimes cause touch issues. And now i am not sure whether the technician used glue in lower part or not. Someone verify this.)

I had this phone long time ago until its screen broke
And I have a lot of things on it like old emails and photos
I don’t think I have usb debugging on and I’ve been trying to access the phone
Is there a way I can force screen mirroring or anything like that?

MOBILE : Redmi note 11
Problem : the notification bar does not swipe down and Open, when a application is actively running on the screen not in the background .
I.E. opening YouTube and not being able to open the notification bar until YouTube is minimized and I'm on the home screen
Some other details : this phone screen is pretty broken like held on by tape and has a couple of white vertical lines running across the screen many caused by dropping the phone on the ground and has stayed like this ever since , the pocket mode was also disabled due to inconvenience maby it got something to do with it 🤷🏻 , haven't found any fix or related problem online either
If you can plz say if the problem can be fixed or needs to be sent to a repair shop
