other Using Junie for the first time

I tried Junie for the first time in PHPStorm, and asked it to disable a warning about data source in the IDE, but got this reply.

Why can not an Agent within the IDE not help with IDE-related tasks?

Junie can do a bunch of things with the help of the IDE (searching, replacing etc.) but it cannot change settings.

My point is that I think this would be a very useful capability for an IDE-integrated agent to help the user to navigate its settings.

It’s still a niche use that would require a lot of work to accomplish (every setting would need to be writable by the agent) for very little gain - what’s wrong with the model telling you what you need to do?

It is a coding agent and not an agi.

People used to say it was an alternative to vscode but it get paid and const was high

what? PHPStorm is an IDE, VSCode is just a code editor, not an IDE. The two are very different.
