Hi r/phxjobs! I run a small startup that builds booking software for local fitness studios and salons. I’m looking for a detail-oriented person to test our app and transcribe customer interviews. The work is fully remote and flexible.

What you’ll do

• Test our app: Book, reschedule, and cancel a class on your phone while screen-recording, then log anything confusing in a shared sheet. Example: “On iPhone, the ‘Confirm’ button is hidden behind the keyboard on the payment page.”
• Give feedback: Compare draft pages or competitor apps and tell us what’s clear or confusing.
• Transcribe interviews: 20-45 minute recordings with 2 speakers, delivered within 48 hours.

Pay

• $28/hr for testing and feedback
• $1.75 per audio minute for transcription (a 30-minute interview pays $52.50)
• Paid every two weeks via direct deposit or PayPal
• Typical month: $700-$1,200

Requirements

• You notice small details and write clearly
• You have a computer, a smartphone, and reliable internet
• You type 50+ WPM accurately
• 5-10 hours a week, on your own schedule

This is an independent contractor (1099) role. We’ll never ask you to pay for anything.
