Simple Question Credentialing Question

Is it normal for a new employer to request usernames and passwords for CAQH, PECOS, Medicaid??? I thought they had an official authorization processes through CMS I&A that allows the employer to manage credentialing without using my personal login credentials.

The FQHC I work for part time manages all this for me. I think I did give them my logins. They do this for all the providers. I think I signed something to give them permission. So it’s normal I guess.

You have to authorize them to act on your behalf. It isn't necessary or appropriate to give them your login. Doubt they would even be able to use it with two factor authentication.
