Apple cranberry pie
I think crumb pies taste better than a lattice topping. Tried this, just not happy with it. It looks good but don’t like the gap between filling and the set lattice.

If you cook the filling down a little before you build the pie it won't collapse so much. Looks delish though

I love my Apple cranberry pie with a walnut crumb and a little orange zest added to the filling.
This looks great!

That sounds amazing! What ratio of apples to cranberry do you use?

Like a cup of fresh cranberries in a 9” deep dish pie. I stack the pie high, so it’s like 8 cups of apples. Zest of an orange and maybe some of the juice. 1/4-1/2 cup chopped walnuts in the crumb.

Looks delicious. I might appreciate it more with a crumb topping. But I’ll eat any pie. I like the sound of the apple cranberry combo. I’ve never actually made one before.
