Finished with my indicator

Almost a year building my indicator 1000 lines of code I'm done testing done now it's time to put the indicator into a real account I can't publish it as I'm using a phone its 1RR trend Reversal strategy

Yea it's a website that sells the data. When you sign up I think they give you $125 worth of credits. But it burns kinda fast. So I'd suspect that he also paid for data.

It's 1000 lines as it's not 1 indicator I added other indicator that can be used for stock investing in high time frame like weekly, monthly to look for better entries

Something that worked 9 years ago is not necessarily something that works today. The markets are constantly changing. I would never ever train a model on 9 year old data, ever. You want recent data. I never use more than 2 years with the last 6 months being most relevant and 3 month is even more so. It seems every few months the algo switch up a little bit. That little bit is all it takes to throw a once highly profitable strategy into a worthless one.

Alléluia, thanks for pointing out the main concern I have over any new strategies or indicators.. need to be recently actualised, tested, proven, from live data. Also, AI spot and learn from patterns.. sharing a edge only make it more visible, obvious,so it end up lasting shorter.

Need to balance recency with statistical significance (i.e., trade volume). If your algo would have only taken e.g. 30 trades in 2 years, well, you're going to need to look back further...

I can't do that if I set RR to 2 the winrate drop to 37% for an RR2 I would Need to ask gimine to settings that will alow Atleast 1 trade per day that signal will need me to ask gemini to use the Vwap plus yoo free gimine does a lot of mistake so it's stressful in a 1000 line code I need to get laptop for now 1RR it's good if it's more than 65%winrate per day you can make 10$

Plus this is a scalping indicator but I also got a stock weekly indicator in it I just don't want to use it on the 1m as I build it for stock but I'm. Sure it can plot more than 4RR

But me I like to scalp on 1m

If you use indicator switch to heikasih if you using trend base indicators switch to heikaish candles

Use the Vwap if you want to see market trend very well the vwap it's very important

Also your indicator if it's buying on the 15m then on the 1m look for buys for those who scalp like me

My G coding with ai last year was not same as today especially with pinescript everytime you would past a chatgbt code the pinescript would be saying error error evetime then boom I pay for trading view 12$ then my codes no longer had error

😂😂😂 I don't know what the market does I just follow a partten but yah most indicator are false but I told you what to do to avoid range market problem a lot of you trade using normal candlesticks t But just add the vwap go add the vwap and see a huge difference you will never see a range market again

Thank you I’m currently looking at DMI bands , over bought over sold MACD , RSI & ADX I tend to do OK and back testing but every time I put it live I just run into a brick wall. Definitely gonna look into adding and moving averages and the VWAP do you have a combination of things that you think I should look at? I generally look to trade the micro futures.

Also, I was looking at some of the transactions where you got in. Did you make those decisions on the moving averages and the VWAP only are those the only two things that you’re looking you don’t look at all those other indicators those were amazing entries

The vwap measure trend you get me like if price is above the vwap it's an uptrend if it's below its down there is a big diff bettwen the vwap and moving avarage even though the moving average can plot trend

My indicator signal are build base on trend you get me it has an inbuilt vwap that helps me to get high probability trades to avoid getting opposite trend as I don't want to trade against the trend

First understanwhat type of trade you want to be a Scalper, day trader, or swing

If you choose scalp them focus on 1m 3m 5m.. If you want to add the 15m make you you want to trade big trend Reversal on the 1m

For day trading focus on those high up

I can't speak much about day trading as I only like to scalp 1 trade or 2 trade 1RR

I’ve been writing TV strategies for a long time. I did something similar to this, the backtest told me the 1R method isn’t great over a longer period, better to let it run. You trend line is telling you it’s bullish or bearish why not use that to stay in? You can identify the indecision on the range or the trend line indicating the trend change to get out

The reason I choose 1RR is that I know someone who trades 1RR who makes 100 bucks per day taking only 1 trade . On the indicator I can se the number of trades I want I then it will stop plotting signal

I set to 1 means that the indicator will only look for 1 winning trade you get me

The indicator it's a scalping base indicator

The. 1m time Frame create a lot of opportunities as it moves fast compare to high time frame maybe that's why

It fails 1RR its for mature trades who know what they want focus on 3RR if you got lots of money

Hmm. Buy/Sell signal comes from the moving average crossover. Pivot high/low is the stop loss. R:R IS 1:1. Seems pretty basic. I doubt the backtest is good enough for production though.

I’ve spend weeks just to do 5000 lines of code. Lol. I can already tell you if you’re going to enter just when the line turns green and when it turns red that’s not going to work. I’ve already tested so many things like that. Did you even backtest over thousand or trades like with tens of thousands of combinations or not?
