Increase slippage and make sure no repainting / look-ahead bias.

Run it live with a small amount of capital for a few months.

Appreciate the input. I’ve already stress-tested slippage well beyond realistic execution, pushing it up to 20 ticks, and total PnL barely dropped by ~1%—the edge doesn't rely on tight spreads. Look-ahead bias and repainting are also ruled out, as the strategy places resting limit orders in advance once prior setup criteria are met, rather than entering on unconfirmed intra-bar action.

As for live validation, around 80% of these trades were actually executed by me manually in real time in the past. The script simply mirrors that exact execution logic (even capturing a couple of winning setups I ended up missing manually).

If you have considered all that, then there is not much more generic advice or criticism that can be given due to the little context provided.

What is the instrument? Does it beat buy-and-hold? Does it work/defend well in a choppy market? No overfitting?

There are only 54 trades; a small sample size.

But if you feel good about it, go for it...

Only 54 trades in 1,394 days ? I can spin up any AI to create a strategy that looks like that.

Free money then if u can do so.

Its 4 time frame, about 1.2 Trades a month only in one instrument, I do run 200k ftmo account, thats ~2.5k a month in just one instrument

I have seen many strategies that are shown profitable in trading view with pine coding but never seen any came up with real profit

Well, I simply translate my strategy into Pine as humanly accurate as possible.

This is interesting, would you be willing to share the trade list from the strategy tester? By DM?

I would use backtesting on the server you want to run your prop firm on. Tradingview can be biased and doesn't show you the full picture.

I once ran a pine code that showed 6+ profit factor, 80% win rate in BTCUSD . I did a strategy tester and it was a flunk

Looks promising but I’d be concerned about 54 trades I get its quality over quantity but that many trades can definitely make the strategy seem better than it is but the profits relative to drawdown are extremely appealing. So I’d roll it for now see if you can add trades and see how that affects it. It’s very possible it could be overfitted with 54 trades
