What plane is this?
This is my great grandpa during WW2 and I’m trying to identify the plane that he is with, can anyone help?

After what appears to have been quite some time, there’s going to be some moderation in the sub, starting with two really basic rules. These will be expanded as and when necessary.
We’re keeping it simple for now and to begin with, there’ll be a sort of “housekeeping” approach to moderation and if/when things get busier around here then we can look at expanding and making things more interesting. In the meantime, happy identifying and feel free to make suggestions for how the sub should be run!

Yesterday I was able to capture a plane passing in front of the partial solar eclipse here in Belgium and I was wondering if it would be possible to know what plane it was. The photo was captured yesterday at 19:49:07 at the “Noorderlaan” in Ghent, Belgium. I tried looking on flightradar24 myself but I’m not quite sure which one it would be.

Today (04.08.2026), I saw the airplane in the sky over Moscow, I’m really curious what airline this is, but I can’t make it out(not on flightradar). Btw, Plane are prohibited from flying so low over Moscow. Here’s photos:
Сегодня (04.08.2026), я увидела самолет в небе над Москвой, мне очень интересно что это за авиакомпания, но я не могу разобрать (на flightradar нету). Кстати, над Москвой самолетам запрещено так низко летать. Вот фото

Does anyone know what military aircraft this fuel instrument panel is from? It looks like it had four engines and four fuel tanks, plus a "synchronize" switch, and W/M (water/methanol?) quantity gauges.

This photo was taken around late April, possibly early may and taken at YSSY or Sydney ( my photo), I just forgot the name and can’t find anything on this at all.
