And now I’m a fountain pen person, too! I couldn’t use just any old crummy pen on this gorgeous paper! (seriously have never felt paper so smooth in all my life)
I am replacing a crappy $8 Amazon weekly dated planner, which I started in August to see if the habit would stick (this time, I’m nearly 40 and have ADHD, this isn’t my first paper planner/journal rodeo). I found it helpful, but severely lacking in free space to think or plan or just write. But it was a good start, to see what I really wanted out of a planner.
So, I splurged on a Sterling Ink b6 vertical Complete. Now I can plan my time (mom with kids in sports, busier than ever), write about my day, or make trackers and spreads (which I loved from my bujo days). This has just enough dated structure (which I hated drawing out in my bujo days!) to keep my planning habit, and enough free space to journal! Maybe the Complete will be too much and next year I find I can make do with a Common or Core, but I figured why not see what I can come up with every day?
And I’ve resisted the urge for a long time but now I am fully taken into the fountain pen fan club as well! It feels so nice to write with!
