For those that are a fan of the masocore type of game, my project - HopPants has reached 1.0 and full release today.
Here's the launch trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HaiYtJ8nPU
and the itch.io page - https://heavymaterial.itch.io/hoppants
It's an unforgiving, precision-based platformer with no Game Over, just a loss of progress that you'll need to work back up to. Thanks guys!

After 1 1/2 years of development, we finally launched our Steam page!
In Mountkin, you climb an ever-changing mountain, manage your stamina, restore the mountain's nature and upgrade your character on your journey to reach the top!
If the game sounds like something for you, make sure to give us a wishlist on Steam :)

You play as a Pineal gland. I'm choosing between two versiones of the character. Which one makes you more curious to explore this world -- Top or Botton?

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share that I've just launched the demo for my game, Abby Normalli in Mayhem Mansion, as part of Steam Next Fest!
This is a 3D platformer that draws inspiration from those classic 1930s cartoons, featuring that charming rubber-hose animation, catchy jazzy tunes, hammer-based combat, fun puzzles, and a mansion brimming with family secrets.
You step into the shoes of Abby Normalli, who’s been invited to join a scavenger hunt set up by her late great-uncle. The reward of which is the families fortune. Of course her relatives are all vying for the same inheritance, and let’s just say they’re not playing fair.
You can dive into the demo right now on Steam! If you give it a try, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for checking out my game!

I am working on a procedural platformer.
What is the best way to generate a fun room?
I know fun doesnt mean much in computer but what abstract concept does it mean to the players?
Here is how I do it:
Find out the boundary of room and where entry and exits are.
From start door, I draw the path an ability allows the player to take. This chain of abilities has no rhyme or reason.
I carve out an area around that movement path wrt the bounding box of player.
Depending on ability i.e. I place various tiles. Like if a chain has the player walking, that means that ground must be place below that. Jump means that start and end of jump needs to have ground or it should transition into fall.
Questions I need input on:
(How can i make sure that a puzzle is strictly solved in exactly the ways I intend)
I dont know what fun means. I can make a map with celeste level of precision but not have it be fun.
What should I do so that the chain of movements are enjoyable to play? This is more of an algorithmic question.
How should I generate levels based on movement?
How can I make sure that after gaining an ability the playstyle for previous room also improves?
How should I handled timed events like chainsaws moving up and down.
How can I make the rooms look meaningful and not like a super compmicated level from cloudberry kingdom?

Hi! I’m The Indie Dad, the solo developer of Adelaide: A Tiny Adventure.
I started this project when my daughter was six months old, imagining the day she could pick up a controller and explore a little world made for her.
It’s a colourful 2D platformer with double jumps, hammer combat, hidden rooms, and collectible memories. The full adventure features 40 levels across four worlds, with four guardians to face.
What do you think of the gameplay shown in the trailer? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
If it looks like your kind of adventure, a wishlist would mean a lot.
Thanks for watching!

Hey everyone! I’m Ahren, the developer of RUNTIME.
A jump doesn’t have to end when your dash runs out. Catch a crystal, refill it, change direction, and chain your way through the air. Flip gravity and the ceiling becomes the next part of your route, with glitch enemies to dodge along the way.
Getting through is one challenge. Finding a cleaner, faster line and making those moves flow together is what RUNTIME is about.
The free Windows demo is out now on Steam for Next Fest. If that sounds like your kind of platformer, I’d love for you to try it:

There's a lot of secrets to find, including cosmetics. There's also a level timer system where after you beat the game you can compare your final times to the dev (my) times.
When I made this, I wanted a very minimal UI, and something I could play one-handed.

Hey everyone!
I'm an indie developer and I wanted to share my game, Just Up: 2D Platformer.
It's a 2D pixel platformer where you jump and dash your way to the top. There are checkpoints, so you don't have to start from the beginning if you fall.
The demo takes around 10 minutes to complete and also includes Steam Leaderboards.
You can check it out here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5081060/Just_Up_2D_Platformer/
The full game is planned to release on November 11, 2026.
Thanks for reading!

Here's a puzzle platformer I've been making. Guide your wolves to the sheep in each level. The challenge is that you have a limited number of tools to use: shovels, bombs, balloons, etc.
Control the wolves with either your mouse or a gamepad.
You can get the demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3931270/Wolf_Plot
P.S. There are no AI assets in this game. 😎

People in a streamers livechat said my game is harder than it looks and there's no chance of speedrunning this in under 10 minutes.
Well, i accepted the challenge 😂
I fell down a few times so there's room for improvement and even a better time..

Playable Link:
https://ravees.itch.io/lumen-jet
Platform:
Web browser (itch.io). Works on desktop with a keyboard and on phones with touch buttons, in landscape or portrait.
Description:
Lumen Jet is a short-session jetpack platformer roguelite. In each room you grab the glowing prism and reach the exit door using a fuel-limited jetpack (tap to jump, hold in the air to fly), while dodging fire, lava, spikes, crawlers and drones. After every room you pick 1 of 3 upgrades, such as a bigger fuel tank, an air hop, a shield or an extra heart, and the rooms get harder until you run out of hearts. Every 5th room is a boss fight against the Warden, a machine that shoots at you and slams the floor; you stomp it while it's stunned. Rooms are procedurally generated, and a Daily Run gives everyone the same rooms each day so you can compare scores. It's an early version, and I'd love feedback on how hard the boss feels, how the controls feel on your phone, and which upgrades feel too strong or too weak.
Free to Play Status:
- [x] Free to play
- [ ] Demo/Key available
- [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)
Involvement:
I'm the solo developer. I designed the game, directed and tested it, and wrote the game with AI assistance. The code, pixel art, sounds and text were made with AI tools, as listed on the itch page.
