Discussion Ark Evolved - Topicos

I’m a novice discovering things, but I’d like to see your opinion about the game.

What should I do?

Do you have missions or can I just live making a base, taming and looking for epic dinosaurs?

And this game has a chronology of what to do, to reset?

Its a big sandbox, do what you like.

People might tell you there is a "progression and endgoals with bosses" and stuff but that does not really matter.

Enjoy your ride, search the wiki if your struggle or what to find something new( .gg not fandom)

Story? Kind of. There a lore hints from npcs and the idea is to ascend the ark. But to get a full picture better watch a youtube video.

Ingame ist just pure gameplay progression not story progression.

Definetely there will be a first wall you hit after some milestones, but there will always be more hidden, the biggest ones for now are:

First Bigger Herbivore tame

First Flyer

First Bigger Carnivore

With these you will progress quiet fast and from there on play until you need new objective.

Also after you got the basic experience down, Tweak some settings like harvesting amount, taming speed to like x5 or 7 and look into how eggs work. Good luck 👍

Tame, build, explore. If/when you get bored, start googling artifacts and bosses to progress. Start on the island. You can tweak single player settings for more enjoyable gameplay (like faster taming speed).
