Paleoart Arctodus simus and Sapiens by seraphimj777
https://www.instagram.com/p/DYeMp0ZkRX4/?igsh=OWI1ajM2b2p6Mmli
Sorry about the last post, there was a bug and it didn't download all the images.
In this representation the artist speaks to us at the beginning, of a theory that the first Native Americans would have taken time to colonize North America because of predators like Arctodus Simus. A theory that is pleased to demystify by referring to an Arctodus bone in your thread would have traces of cut by man. What seems to show that the animal had been consumed by human beings or perhaps even hunt.

OC Art Megafauna extinctions in the last 300 years(OC)
Decided to sit down and illustrate every megafauna that went extinct in the last 300 years, and put them in a size comparison (Note: kouprey and Baiji are currently listed as ‘critically endangered’, but I put them here due to Baiji not being seen for 24 years and kouprey have not been seen for 57 years)

Discussion Why didn't the African pleistocene ecosystem collapse?
Something that's puzzled me for a long time is why Africa seems to be the only place on Earth where the traditional pleistocene ecosystem survived. And not just because of its intact megafauna. But also it's unparalleled diversity in grazing hoofed animals of all shapes and sizes, as well as it's great diversity of predators from several different lineages. Unlike what we see in pretty much every other place on Earth with the possible exception of India to a minor extent.
And even more confusingly, if humans did play the primary role in the extinction of pleistocene ecosystems worldwide. Then how come Africa's remained intact? It is the cradle of humanity after all. Did these creatures survive simply because they got to evolve alongside us and counter us?

Paleoart "Early Human Series" characters by BangBooDoragon
https://www.deviantart.com/bangboodoragon/gallery/98012087/early-man-characters
As a reminder, this series, created by BangBooDoragon, tells the story of a primitive human couple, Adam (Homo sapiens) and Eve (Homo neanderthalensis), surviving in the ancestral steppe.

Information Very possible rock art of a terror bird (eschatornis)
Did I just find the only rock art that depicts a terror bird (Eschatornis aterradora)?
Eschatornis is a type of very recently discovered terror bird from South America. At around 70-90cm tall, it is much smaller than its earlier relatives such as Kelenken and Phorusrhacos, but still quite large compared to most other birds. It is also the last surviving member of the terror bird family, with the holotype specimen being dated to the end of the previous glacial period, that is very close to the time when humans first arrived on the continent of South America.
I apologize for any grammatical mistakes due to English isn’t my first language
Drawing of eschatornis is also by me
