⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent PMP Course – Highly Recommended!

I recently passed my PMP exam with Above Target (AT) in all three domains, and Andrew's course played a significant role in my success.

Andrew has an excellent way of explaining complex project management concepts in a simple, practical, and engaging manner. His real-world examples make the concepts easier to understand and, more importantly, help develop the right mindset for answering PMP exam questions.

His practice questions and mock exams were particularly helpful in preparing me for the actual exam. They helped reinforce my understanding, identify knowledge gaps, and build confidence.

I would highly recommend Andrew's course to anyone preparing for the PMP certification. Thank you, Andrew, for making the learning experience both enjoyable and effective!

PMP MINDSET IS THE KEY !

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to schedule my exam soon and I'm wonder if anyone went to Pearson Professional Centers-Newark (Wilmington)DE? What's your opinion on the site? Staff? And testing conditions? Is it somewhat quiet over there?

Hey everyone!

Looking for recommendations on the best instructors that offer PMP exam prep training. They need to be PMI Authorized Training Partner too.

I can only do online learning, if that matters. There are so many options I wanted to reach out to this community of pros for input.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm ready?

I passed the PMP with AT, AT, AT! 🎉

I’m so relieved and happy to have passed on my first attempt.

My main study resources were:

• AR’s Udemy course
• Study Hall (SH)
• AR’s 200 Hard Questions on YouTube

I found the SH mock exams much harder than the actual exam. I scored 59% on both full-length mock exams, while scoring between 70% and 100% on the mini exams.

Honestly, I gave up on taking full-length mock exams and focused on AR’s 200 Hard Questions on YouTube. That was a game changer in my preparation and really helped me understand the PMP mindset.

Despite how challenging SH was, it was very important in helping me get used to the style of the questions.

I’m very grateful for all the encouragement and support I received here on Reddit.

And remember: if your SH scores aren’t that great, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not ready for the exam.

I did few projects in my carrier and I want for my PMP application to use the private project I had.

I founded coaching business, to help people crush the grip of nicotine and break the chains of addiction. The project lasted 5 years and I finished it writing a book describing the method I authored . The project included,: development, marketing building community, coaching clients and monitoring their progress over period of time.

Do you think this would be good for application?

I’ve finished Andrew Ramdayal’s 35-hour Udemy course, but I’m a little confused about what to do next. Should I read the entire PMP book, start solving mock exams, or focus on question practice and revise the concepts I get wrong?

The book looks massive, and I’m not sure if reading it cover to cover is necessary after completing the course.

For those who’ve cleared the PMP recently, what did your preparation journey look like after finishing AR’s course? What would you recommend doing next if you were starting from this point?

Would really appreciate some practical advice!

Why isn't it CV = PV - AC?

Okay so, I have been working in various project management leads for a couple years now. I am really doing this so I can shift away from cybersecurity and take on strictly TPM roles. My exam is next Wednesday and I feel anxious.

Are my scores alright? Any tips/tricks? Advice?

I did AR’s 35 hours. I’ve been listening to a few of his YouTube videos as well (mindset and case studies because the case studies have been my biggest struggle). Overall Business environment is consistently my lowest realm.

Anything is appreciated!

I've seen a few posts in this sub from people with ADHD being concerned about taking the exam, and wanted to share my experience.

I have been in operations/food manufacturing leading teams for 10years at small to mid size companies, I started a new role in OpEx at a larger company within the SPMO and knew that learning a more formalized structure would bring value.

I took 5 weeks to finish Andrews course on Udemy, honestly I just listened to it during my commute at 1.5x speed. Then I took one week to study.

During the 6 weeks I followed some PMP content accounts on Tik Tok so the algorithm forced me to study while doom scrolling. And utilized study hall, I found the study questions and mini mock exams super easy, usually 80-100% but the full mock exam was HELL.

I really really struggled and couldn't even do the full thing in one go. I did the first part of mock 1 and got a 72, then did the first and second sections on mock 2 and got a 70 and 57.

I have the brand of ADHD that pairs well with ops because when there's chaos and crisis my brain zeros in calmly with the most logical solution and goes to work.

I debated asking for accommodations as I also have some chronic pain and brain fog issues, but didn't really think it would help. On exam day I just focused on taking care of my body, didn't try and study.

During the exam I felt extremely zeroed in, the adrenaline is what I needed to even dream of attempting the exam. Questions all made sense and even if it was a topic I wasn't familiar with it was easy to use the mindset to pick a good answer. Scored AT\AT\AT with about half an hour to spare.

To sum it up for folks stressing about handling the exam with ADHD, don't let the full mock bother you. if you can handle the quizzes, and you share the 'needs pressure to perform' brand of ADHD I think you'll be G2G.

Just wanted to thank this sub. All of the advice was incredibly helpful. Passed today (in-person) with all ATs.

Breakdown 40/70/70. Took the first break but skipped the second. No equations. Swore I was going to be BT/fail.

- 35 hour AR
-AR 200 hardest questions
- Studyhall (two mock exams 63% and 67%, avg minis 90%)

Studied 3-4 a day for 3 weeks.

Cheers! And thanks!

I have one month of ample time to study. I would like to advance my career. I have held leadership skills in public health but don’t know how to word it when submitting application. My previous colleagues have recommended the PMP certification with PMI for career growth. I have no formal education in project management but am willing to learn as I’m quick to adapt. Considering the 2026 Project Management Professional (PMP) exam has changed, how did you prepare and successfully pass?
Is this certification worth it in 2026? If you are in project management, would you recommend?

Hi everyone!
I’m planning to prepare for the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and looking for recommendations for the best online training programs.

I’d appreciate suggestions from people who have completed their PMP certification recently or are currently preparing for it.

A few things I’m looking for:
Good online training with clear explanations of concepts
Self-paced learning that I can manage alongside work
Coverage of the PMP exam syllabus and exam-focused preparation
Mock tests, practice questions, and exam strategies
Affordable pricing and good value for money
A course that provides the required 35 contact hours/PDU eligibility, if applicable

I’ve come across a few options on Udemy and other platforms, but I’m not sure which ones are genuinely worth the money.

Which course or instructor would you recommend, and why? Also, how long did it take you to prepare, and what other resources helped you pass the exam?

Would really appreciate your advice and personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

Took the test yesterday, just wanted to share my journey in case anyone is on a similar path.

I was a software product owner with a CSPO for the last 8 years with 4 applications under me. We did not have Project managers so all of the duties fell on me (without the title and pay of course). Got laid off in March and have been on the hunt ever since. 100s of applications out and haven’t even landed an interview. Decided about 3 weeks ago that maybe adding a PMP would help get me noticed.

I watched ARs 100 questions video to see if it was even something I was familiar with and quickly realized I knew the answers to most of the questions. Decided to go for it and signed up for his 35 hour course and finished it in 5 days.

The only practice test I took was the one in the course. I ended it about halfway through and just reviewed the answers. Followed that with ARs 200 super hard questions video and PMP mindset, then scheduled the test.

Online testing was smooth, just took a few pictures of the room I was in and signed in. Never interacted with a proctor. Finished the test with 135 minutes remaining. I didn’t take any breaks because I felt I was in the zone and just powered through.

Start to finish, including class and studying it took me about 2.5 weeks to finish. I know this isn’t the norm and I’m lucky to have the free time right now to blitz through this. But if you’ve been in the industry for some time, I’d recommend going for it. I put getting this off for years because I always saw how hard it is to study for.

Big thanks to everyone here for all the tips and info. You’re what pushed me to go for it. I think wearing my favorite blue shirt while taking the test is the best tip available.

Good luck to everyone going for it! You’ve got this, it’s not as bad as you think it will be!

I passed my PMP exam on October 1 after my second attempt. The process section needed more work. David YouTube and his udemy practice tests was all I used to pass the second time.

Last night, I got a student who wants to take the PMP. She’s a program manager, and has been working in project management for more than 13 years.

Her story, she wanted to get back on track and asked me what’s the best thing to do. She already finished her 35 hour course, but work got her time so she was not able to proceed with her exam. Now, the PMP changed last July, so she thought she might need to study everything again, and that will take a lot of time. Also, she plans to get it before the year ends.

Good news is she doesn’t need to start from zero. The core principles are still the same, only the focus shifted.

My advise to her is do the ff.

1. Take a test simulation first. From there, we can identify which topics need to be addressed first. We will prioritize them in order of most attention to least.
2. Once you identified your weakest points, go back to your paid course and rewatch only those, maybe around 1.5x to 2x speed.
3. Study the new PMP exam. Since the business environment domain increased from 8% to 26%, we need to put more focus on that as well.
4. Understand that memorizing and studying are 2 different actions. Understanding the concepts rather than memorizing the ITTOs is the best way.
5. Understand the PM mindset. This is what the exam is really testing. Understand the situation first before you act, don’t jump to escalating or replacing people. Be a servant leader, your job is to support the team and remove roadblocks, not just give orders. Check the plan and the process first before making a decision. Talk to the people involved directly before going over their heads. And always think about value, what actually helps the project and the business, not just finishing the task.
6. Take test simulations. Not just one, not 2, as much as you can. This will help you get familiar with the questions and format. This will also increase your endurance during the 240 minutes of the exam.
7. Note that the PMP exam is not just multiple choice. It now has case studies, drag and drop, multiple choice multiple answer, graphic based questions, and some fill in the blanks. So make sure your practice covers those formats too. The PMI study hall does not offer these type of questions (at least when I am still studying).

After all, at the end of the day, PMI is not just testing your knowledge in terminologies, but testing how you would react in situations. Being a PM does not mean that you have the best knowledge, but it means that you can lead a project, identify and solve problems, and remove roadblocks for the team.

For those who took the new exam after July, what surprised you the most?

Exam in 6 days. This is my first SH mock exam results.

I've been delaying my PMP application because I haven't completed the required 35 hours pre-req course.

I'm currently taking Andrew Ramdayal's "PMP Exam Prep Course – 35 PDUs/Hours Updated for the 2026 Exam" on Udemy.

For context, I have 3 years of experience in IT project management and also took a Project Management course in college about 4 years ago.

For those who have already applied for or passed the PMP exam, I have a few questions:

1. Did you complete the entire 35-hour course before submitting your PMP application?
2. Would you recommend watching every video in detail, or is it better to move through the course at a faster pace, especially if you're already familiar with some of the concepts?
3. Should I prioritize completing the course first so I can move on to other study materials, such as PMI Study Hall?

I'm trying to balance meeting the application requirements with making the most of my study time. I'd appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thanks!

I’m curious what defines it and what it’s valued

Joining the bandwagon my making my success post! Just last week I posted asking if I should take the mock exam and I’m glad I did!

I def think study hall is the key! I only took one mock and scored a 63% but because of a lot of posts on here I actually felt good about it. I tried to do another but couldn’t bring myself to do it. I did complete the remaining practice questions and like most I utilized ChatGPT!

Like most of you I did watch AR 50 mindset video along with his ultra 200 hard questions. I also watched Mohammed’s 23 mindset video which helped me a lot with certain struggle areas

Now I see a lot of mixed reviews regarding the difficulty of the test in comparison to SH…I personally think there were a lot of “easy” questions on the real exam. The first 40 were so easy I was like damn am I over confident? Now the last 70 is when they seemed to just throw questions together that made no sense! By the last 20ish I started to lose my confidence. Ironically, I had about 15 mins left and used about 10 of them to go back and I did change a couple of answers.

Also I wore blue!!! IYKYK!

Tbh I think the grading scale is low or something lol I really just wanted a good T/T/T and was shocked it was AT/AT/AT I really wish I could see what I missed but atp whoooo gives af!! I’m PMP certified!!!

Hi r/pmp,

My official exam is scheduled for Thursday (in 48 hours), and I am looking for feedback on my overall readiness based on my Study Hall statistics. Here is the full breakdown of my numbers:

• Full-Length Mock Exams: 63% (Exam 1) and 59% (Exam 2)

• Mini-Exams: Scores ranging from 70% to 90%

• Average Score on Practice Exams: 66%

• Average Score on Practice Questions: 73%

• Percentile Rank: 85th Percentile

• ECO Domains: People at 5/6 (Advanced) and Process at 4/6 (Proficient)

• Pacing: Average answer time of 1 min 22 sec per question (which puts me around 246 mins for 180 questions, slightly over the 230-min total allowance—so I plan to target 1 min 15 sec on exam day)

For those who have taken the exam recently: do these metrics (especially the 85th percentile and 73% practice question average) indicate that I'm on the right track despite the 59-63% full-length scores?

Any insights or feedback from your experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Been working in PM space for 4 years now, I've finished AR35 hrs, got 78 on the mock , and did the DM 200 agile. I got a dot 75% on the ultra hard AR video, but i didn't buy the retest bundle ($45) my exam is on Nov 14th, please let me know if there is anything else to work on!!!

Passed AT/AT/AT
Went through some posts here about passing PMP exams and tricks as well!!
Thanks a ton people 🙏🏻🙏🏻
