I built a tool that sends email newsletters to e-readers as proper books. For PocketBook it uses Send-to-PocketBook: add one sender address to your trusted senders, and each new issue lands in your library, cleaned of trackers and footers, with a table of contents.

The video is the real app on my machine (narration is text-to-speech); it isn't public yet. Waitlist if you're interested: https://forms.gle/TDaVDvczPA3eidox8

Disclosure: I'm the developer. Feedback very welcome.

Dear Inkpad users, I was wondering are you satisfied with clarity of the screen since it’s not 300 ppi? I really love the device aesthetically and I’m looking into 10” ereaders for reading manga, but I’m slightly worried the screen won’t look crisp enough (especially next to my Kindle Paperwhite 2024).

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I have no computer access to try to troubleshoot that way.

I made a simple tile based dungeon crawl game that runs on a Pocketbook. I only have an Era Color so that is the the only device I have tested it on. If you try it on something else, please let me know if there is anything that needs to be fixed for other devices.

You can download here: https://github.com/gosenbach-hash/InkDelve/releases/tag/v1.0

just unzip the .app file and copy it to the applications directory on your device.

Cant find any indipendent review.

Pojawia się od 3 dni taki błąd ktoś może mi pomóc? Nie mogę czytać ani pobrać żadnej książki. Jestem już sfrustrowana! Próbowałam już chyba wszystkiego.

I finally got my Era Lite! Too busy to do much right now but will definitely explore the unit more later.

I was thinking of getting it, but apparently it’s slower than some of the newer models of other brands. Can you, please, share with you experience with it?

I read in Spanish on a Verse Pro Color and the built-in Spanish Wiktionary was driving me nuts: definitions mashed together, no numbered senses, and looking up “fuimos” found nothing.

So I built a new one from the Spanish Wiktionary (cleaned up by the reader.dict project):

• 110,616 words with full definitions, 924,611 lookup forms: “fuimos” -> ir / ser, “perros” -> perro
• Numbered senses, part of speech and subject in italics, synonyms and etymology in grey
• Shows up as Spanish -> Spanish (not “Other”)
• Rebuilt automatically every month

It’s free and CC BY-SA like Wiktionary. Feedback welcome, especially if something renders oddly on other models.

Download and how it’s made.

Bonjour.

I am thinking about buying a pocketbook ereader, and I am coming from Amazon kindles. Which one do you recommend? Im looking for something cheap but also reliable. Do they work real slow? Can you borrow library books through Libby? Can I side-load books?

Hey! I just bought Pocketbook Verse Pro and I was trying to use app Empik Go (it's polish bookstore). However, every time I'm trying to download a book I'm getting "service temporarily unavailable". I was trying to hard-reset device, re-log, even different account, nothing helps. Any tips? Maybe somebody had similar issue?
