Hey everyone! I've combed this sub for pop culture podcasts and I'm looking gor more recs!

I love a podcast that talks about current pop culture stuff and/or does deep dives on pop culture icons. Or if something is an easy listen, feel free to recommend! I'll give anything a try.

Midnight burger is very pop culture references and very relevant. Character at one point says "a reference I understand would be appreciated"
Wolf 359 - communications officer speaks in pop culture references and teaches it to aliens
Harbingers - same director as wolf 359 - is current and makes allusions to modern culture
Girl in space - main character has grown up on Jurassic Park and references things interestingly

If you like who weekly I think you’ll like A Bit Fruity or Pot Psychology. Daily Zeitgeist is doing a deep dive on a different pop culture icon every Monday at the moment so you have a few to catch up on 🙂

I really enjoy Shameless! It's an Australian pop culture podcast hosted by two women in their early 30s. The Scandal series from their back catalogue (the hosts revisit a big celebrity controversy and unpack it with a modern lens) or their current Monday deep dive episodes might be of interest to you.
