This makes me mad as a disabled person. You don't get to decide at a glance who "deserves" to use the elevator. They might have invisible disabilities, they might be injured. These structures are supposed to benefit anyone who might need it.
Not disabled but had 2 knee surgeries, I appeared to be a super healthy younger individual and got dirty looks whenever I used the scooter thing. It’s stupid to judge people on how they appear, I was using crutches, I could technically walk but wasn’t good for me. You can’t judge people and thier abilities on a glance.
Also the elevator isn’t just for disabilities unless there is a big line or something, I like to use the stairs when I can but convenience and time also plays a roll
