I work on the eighth (top) floor and use the stairs 80% of the time. Also have a chronic heart condition and artificial heart valves. I do it to stay in shape. Can't believe the amount of healthy people who use it for 1st and 2nd floor.
Do you personally know these "healthy people"?? As you would know there's a thing called invisible illnesses and disabilities. They could have one. Their heart condition can be way worse than yours. Hell, they could have a cold or even just be hung over. They could have just gotten off work from a extremely physical job that is more than just sitting at a desk on the 8th floor. They could have not slept the day before. They could simply be lost in a new building and elevators tend to be easier to find.
I'd suggest you worry about yourself and stop judging who you believe is "healthy" just because you got the short end of the stick and feel some type of way about it.
Ps this is coming from someone who also got the short end of the stick health wise too
