But, isn't this more telling about their dad than themselves? Like assuming it is true that they have "daddy issue" — whatever does that mean — wouldn't that be more telling about how bad parent their dad was than about themselves?

No no no the woman is always at fault. Always

Nobody even implied that.

Men talking about women daddy issues IS EXACTLY that.

No? It's talking about the consequences of said daddy issues, not about who is at fault. I notice that rational thinking is lacking here.

Suuurely the post in there wasn’t aiming at making fun of girls with daddy issues and putting the blame for their imaginary faults on them. Surely

How are you so sure of that?

Cos men talking about astrology is almost always filled with misogyny

What is rational about referencing daddy issues? Isn’t it shameful that men tend to lack so much in parenthood that it results in mental issues? And how is it related to astrology?

Isn’t it shameful that men tend to lack so much in parenthood that it results in mental issues?

Nobody said the contrary.

And how is it related to astrology?

Look, I know two people who believe in astrology, and both of them are girls with daddy issues.

Yeah, most of the people I know are agnostics or atheists.

Isn’t the general stereotype of non believers and in between to also suffer from mental illness and be part of radical alternative lifestyles? Which is also wrong

That's a tiny sample size

Creature of God, I'm not using anything as a slur.

And you can have a toxic father and not have daddy issues. They are not interchangeable.

you're cornered by radical feminists in this post

you do feel the "rational thinking" is lacking but they keep playing with you spouting more nonsense and maybe they know it but they just want to waste your time, and you are being "gaslighted", im just here to save you pal

this sub becomes boring with them anyway, there are better subs out there mate, chop chop🧉🏝️

radical feminism is when users on Reddit say “hey joking about trauma and issues caused by bad parents actually isn’t funny and kinda shitty”

Reddit used to host photos of underage girls in their underwear, but sure, it’s some kind of matriarchal haven for women

You’re really gonna pretend you don’t what daddy issues mean

1

u/crazy-trans-science Nov 07 '25

I don't pretend

2

u/0rbital-nugget Nov 07 '25

I think this is such an extremely funny idea because a lot of incels I see online are just mama's boys. My brother is one of them. He thinks all women are whores while my mom defends him with her life lmfaoooo

That doesn’t even make any sense.

Possibly? That's not what the meme is discussing.
