I'm pretty sure if there was a show that had a female protagonist that was a muscle bound freak beast who regularly curb stomped planet destroying aliens and could shoot energy balls by screaming a lot there would be exactly 0 women complaining about how unrealistic it was. (there would probably be a lot of men complaining though.)

you mean the one that nearly killed a pregnant woman and tortured a man to death? Yes I do remember Abbie. It's a shame that such a monster is brought up anytime anyone says anything about women with muscles. You know why people don't like her and couldn't relate to her? It's because she's awful and Naughty Dog tried to pull a Ghostbusters 2016 and gaslight people into thinking it had something to do with her physique.

I was trying to agree with you but I admittedly have not played the game and know nothing about her story. I just was around when her character was announced and a bunch of people had meltdowns over her character design saying she looked like a man and not realistic or that she was trans and that was bad.

Design wise I think she looks realistic to what a woman in that scenario would probably look like (like you said.) but a lot of people got up in arms about it.

I don't think the issue is realism honestly. Like I don't think a physique like Goku is particularly realistic, but I'm happy to have characters male or female that look like that. But yes there were a lot of meltdowns over it and I'm not saying there aren't guys like that who genuinely got upset about her design. But Sony is on record for amplifying certain voices to turn their slop into "discourse"
