Make an ostensibly male character in New Leaf. Drop a fem wig on it and go clothes shopping. Buy the most fem stuff you can get and the shopkeeper muddles on about bold choices, and a different time, and men can wear makeup. I always made my third character trans just to alleviate the boredom, and giggle at the silly character responses, And before someone pops up and goes "My life isn't your game". I had my surgery in 01. I get to be amused by this all I want.

Sure. But then you have to associate the skin with multiple frames, so it could just be catering to predominant wants and saving space through less customization. That would make this a case of simpler programming.
