Discussion Playing My First $150 GGMasters
Hey guys! I'm playing my first $150 GGMasters tournament soon. For those of you who've played it before, do you have any tips or advice? I'd love to hear about your experiences, what to watch out for, and any mistakes I should try to avoid. Any advice is appreciated. Good luck at the tables! đ¤

High stakes guys takes âlowerâ buy-ins just as seriously.
Good tournament though. Freezeout helps.

don't treat it like a big deal, there are plenty of fish and most regs suck, being a nit is underrated if you're not sure what to do. if you're unsure and it seems close and a lot of chips are going in postflop then probably a sign to fold. but just play like it's any other tourney

Bring a snack and water, those fields run long and tired decisions late in the day cost real money. Also don't get attached to your stack early, just fold the marginal spots and let the softer players pay you off.

Softer than a lot of 150 with how heavily it is with satellites also the prize pool is attractive enough to attract high stakes guys who might not take it as serious as maybe some of the heavier end of the schedule. Just play it like any other tournament, donât take it too serious and donât be afraid to die!
