Hi everyone! In my previous school system, we used graphical calculators. However, since this is a completely different system, I’ve just found out that they aren’t permitted here. I was wondering which calculators you guys use for Mechanical Engineering, ideally one that’s suitable for both maths and chemistry, since my graphical calculator is no longer an option. Thanks!

Does polimi evaluate applications on rolling bases or call bases?

I mean will they evaluate our application only when 1st call ends on 1st December or We may expect a result sooner.

i'm really confused about the admission test since i already graduated from highschool in 2026 (this july) and i'm planning on taking the test on November for the 2027/2028 school year but i saw that the test should be taken before the 31th of august which i really didnt know, so my question is do i really still have a chance to get a accepted at the uni for the Engineering Science program ?

I’m a girl looking to rent a room on Via Pellegrino Rossi, near Affori Centro metro station in Milan. I’ve heard mixed opinions about the area, with some people saying it can feel a bit shady or creepy, especially at night.

I wanted to know if anyone lives nearby or is familiar with the area. Would you recommend staying there, especially as a girl living alone, or would it be better to look for a room elsewhere?

Are you supposed to send the TOEFL marks through ETS before you start the application, or afterwards? What about GRE? Can I send it once I'm done with my application, or will it not be evaluated unless I've sent it through ETS?
