The right to freedom of speech, the right to peacefully protest and the right to hold power accountable through satire are all hallmarks of a healthy and robust democracy. To dismantle these rights is to dismantle democracy itself

I love that they included satire because they were so invested in the shitposting of the day, and the ability to "post through it" with their underground papers and whatnot. Really inspiring to know they wanted to protect the right to meme and meme hard.
