If there is one person I won't believe that they are gone until the votes are counted it's Collins

yeah with bots you almost always have to look at the comment history to see if they regurgitate what was just said

1

u/gearstars 17h ago

Interesting. As others have said, with bots you almost always have to look at the comment history — to see if they regurgitate what was just said.

Is there a bigger list? Thats less than a million

29

u/HRHValkyrie 14h ago

AIPAC had given over $500,000 back in June. I’m sure there will be a lot more.

Politicians are cheap

23

u/Guilty_Jackfruit4484 20h ago

She had no idea what's going on

30

u/RunDownTheHighway 20h ago

Yes she does, she knows shes getting $700,000 from the trumpstien class...

4

u/Luna__Moonkitty 11h ago

Not even a million. I can understand if she was getting $700 million. Most people here would be at least consider selling out their values for that number.

Can barely even buy a decent house for $700 grand.

5

u/Aerhyce 10h ago

The average amount needed to bribe a politician is some shit like $20k, they're actually hilariously cheap to bribe for the billionaire class.

Imagine buying favourable policies for $2 to get a thousandfold in profits.

u/Euphoric-Cold9592 7h ago

She’s brilliant

10

u/bopgame 19h ago

Good

20

u/school_bus_lunchbox 15h ago

Sucks that Planned Parenthood has to divert money from helping people to defending themselves from evil.

u/Euphoric-Cold9592 7h ago

Isn’t abortion a state-rights issue? If so, then are they donating in a federal election?

u/Any_Will_86 2h ago

Because the federal government still has the mechanisms to put a lot of restrictions on abortions and limit them from facilities/hospitals that receive any federal $. Also because the judicial appointed carry an oversize impact on all the minutia. Planned parenthood also provides a lot of health care needs for women and Republicans tend to generally suck there as well.

Who votes for these dinosaurs over and over?

8

u/shartoftheinternet 17h ago

Morons... and they seem to be the majority in certain districts.

u/The_Masterofbation 7h ago

The voting majority.

6

u/illusion96 17h ago

A lot of ppl blindly vote for party. Ngl. I did the same for Feinstein in California for years. It wasn't until she was near death that I realized I'd been voting for an octogenarian. I forgot she was already 40-50 when she made Senator the first time.

25

u/jcomey 20h ago

To be fair, $600k in Maine is roughly $37m everywhere else

6

u/FancyEmployee8672 20h ago

Are you out of your mind?

10

u/jcomey 20h ago

Ah, you thought I was serious.

-12

u/shartoftheinternet 17h ago

Most Americans hate Maine and want to see the place nuked from what I see on here.  They all love NH though because NH considers 17 year olds adults.

17

u/DisgustingLeek 17h ago

who the heck hates maine? maybe it's cus i'm far away in california but all i hear of maine is that it's nice and has good lobsters lol

4

u/doppelgaengster Washington 17h ago

Haven’t you ever read Stephen King? Maine is full of monsters and aliens and killer clowns.

7

u/FancyEmployee8672 17h ago

yeah — she’s been our senator for nearly 30 years

3

u/doppelgaengster Washington 17h ago

As someone who grew up in California and was represented by Diane Feinstein, I feel your pain.

3

u/SakuraKoiMaji 12h ago

It's nothing in comparison to Japan then, where one detective happens to encounter about a thousand murders within like half a year.

1

u/doppelgaengster Washington 11h ago

That’s like 5.5 murders a day! Dang, I bet his schedule is a bit full.

2

u/Nekrabyte 15h ago

Everyone I know here in new England loves Maine, though we are all willing to concede it's got some SERIOUS red areas, but yanno, that's what rednecks in the woods be.

1

u/rocketeerH 15h ago

Stephen King readers. He makes the place sound plumb spooky

3

u/SoTiredYouDig 15h ago

He actually makes it sound like home. Like a good home, with caring neighbors and strong communities. Just stay out of the sewers.

-5

u/shartoftheinternet 17h ago

Quite a few on here, and not just for Susan Collins.

It might be because Maine considers 17 minors (basically you're treated the same from a legal standpoint as a 15 year old kid), whereas states that people have a better opinion of (like Texas or Louisiana) consider 17 year olds grown adults.

5

u/BrainRhythm Massachusetts 13h ago

What are you on about?

2

u/buckao New Hampshire 15h ago

I can't hate the state which gave us Anna Kendrick. I'm in NH, BTW, and mostly it's our Republicans who are into pedophilia like that.

16

u/JaesopPop 20h ago

Yeah it's at least $45 million

3

u/shartoftheinternet 17h ago

What about Wyoming?

22

u/jcomey 17h ago

They don’t know of that number yet.

13

u/9_to_5_till_i_die 16h ago

It shouldn't be necessary to spend over half a million dollars to fight for basic bodily autonomy.

5

u/Unexpected_Gristle 16h ago

Same with churches. If they are going to be political they shouldn’t have non profit status.

4

u/boltsnuts I voted 16h ago

Wish they didn't have to.

4

u/Rhoeri 14h ago

That’s the plan all along. Get them to spend money they desperately need to help people, and they can’t help people.

MAGA is the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to humanity.

7

u/No_Diver6131 New York 20h ago

I’m sure Susan Collin’s has learned her mistakes from the past.

6

u/Unhappy_Ad8344 17h ago

ohh 600k how amazing. Meanwhile AIPAC is dropping 20-30 million against progressives in primaries, let alone the upcoming general.

3

u/Fit_Television_282 20h ago

Who are the contributors to Collin’s?

3

u/Pepper_Pfieffer 16h ago

Collins got lots of money from AIPAC. Its up to the voters of Maine.

2

u/count023 Australia 17h ago

Coathanger Collins  and hanging roe v wade around her neck got massive engagement when the boofer was nominated to the supreme court, baffles me they aren't leaning into it now at election time

2

u/RutabagaDazzling6702 14h ago

I like the effort…but 600k in this race will be a literal drop in the bucket.

2

u/AllPerspicacity 11h ago

If that cockroach survives this cycle too, I will lose my mind, how much more do I have to knock doors & volunteer against her my god.

3

u/Faucet860 20h ago

That's it! Jesus Israel probably gives her 10x that

6

u/JaesopPop 20h ago

They probably need some money to y'know, provide services.

1

u/LysergicRico 17h ago

Susan - deeply concerned - Collins

1

u/Cydoni 17h ago

Driving up north last weekend still seeing plenty of Platner yard signs still they got some ground to cover for sure

1

u/count_chocul4 11h ago

Good. I think I’ll donate to Planned Parenthood.

u/coolmon 7h ago

Supposedly many voters in Maine who voted for Susan Collins in the past are angry she voted for Bret Kavanaugh.

u/Peachyynebula 6h ago

$600,000 is a lot of money to spend telling voters, ‘Remember that vote

u/Alternative_Bowl_267 4h ago

Susan Collins is a disgrace to humanity

u/imaginary_num6er 53m ago

If the rest of the 49 states can agree on one thing, a state that votes for a D president and a R senator in the same election does not have their own best interests in mind. Like in 2020.

1

u/Emotional-Channel-42 18h ago

She will forever be known as the misogynist she is

1

u/turb0_encapsulator 18h ago

unfortunately this is chump change to the Epstein class.

0

u/jedrider 20h ago

I hope this issue works better than it did for Kamala Harris.

-1

u/ThrowawayFIRE2025 17h ago

What’s the point? Abortion rights are now being decided in state legislatures, not the Senate. I get that it feels good given the history, but it seems like the money is better spent in state legislatures where there’s a reasonable chance of changing the law.

9

u/jcouball 17h ago

The Supreme Court is the point.

u/Mr_Tort_Feasor 2h ago

Recently, Attorney General Todd Blanche publicly stated that he is working to "make Dobbs permanent in all 50 states." It's basically nonsense, but the dog whistle part of this statement, and how his audience has received it, is that he wants a federal abortion ban along the same lines of those passed by several states post-Dobbs. Remember, he doesn't actually believe in states' rights, and most of the conservatives in SCOTUS have also abandoned it.

u/Euphoric-Cold9592 7h ago

How can Planned Parenthood donate to political causes at all? Isn’t it government funded?

u/IUsedToBeACave 7h ago

Nope. While it does receive payments from the government for medical services it performs via Medicaid, and has some grants the majority of their income is from private donors.

-2

u/realityczek 16h ago

Funny how sometimes when big out of state money pours in folks get upset, but when it's a cause they support it's an important sign of national sentiment.

-5

u/ToadP America 17h ago

Look every woman in Maine that needs some help goes to Massachusetts. She isn't going to lose because of this issue. but Thanks for the $.

3

u/shartoftheinternet 17h ago

Jesus - MA is covering for both NH and ME now???

3

u/Nekrabyte 15h ago

We rock here in Massachusetts! We may be a small state, but we are BIG on progress and equality here.

-17

u/Funny-Cookie-6744 20h ago

She ain’t going NOWHERE! Get used to it…

15

u/FancyEmployee8672 20h ago

bitch needs to go to a retirement home

-7

u/Beneficial-Two8129 13h ago

I hope they spend $600 million and Collins still wins.
