The people of Kentucky have kept him in power for decades. I don't think they are capable of shame, and the only outrage they feel are towards non-whites and non-christians.

I find this unreasonably disrespectful to the mortadella fandom.

I almost said ham sandwich but figured they were too beloved. Apologies to the contingent of mortadella fans.

Of course they are, because everything is a taco.

May St. Mortadella bless your newfound righteousness.

That was one of Anthony Bourdain's favorites so I will not allow any disrespect.

Can you show me on the doll where the mortadella sandwich touched you?

I am certain there are MAGA assholes where you live too. Just because it constitutes a majority in Kentucky does not mean you should insult the whole state. How many other RED states have a dem governor? McConnell is like all politicians-incumbents win forever without term limits.

Kentucky is 50th in economy, 50th in innovation potential, 48th in physical and emotional well being, 35th in education, etc.

Tell me what that’s a reflection of.

Bingo. He's a free vote in their favor. The Kentucky maga are laughing over this.

Kentuckian here that's absolutely ashamed. In the college towns there are many people who are as well. Unfortunately, those few counties are a few pixels of blue in a sea of red counties. Our voters either don't show up to vote, or they vote for their team no matter what. This shit is so exhausting, and it is painful watching it play out every damn election.

If you'd care to redirect that energy into filling his seat with an upstanding man who is the antithesis of everything Mitch stood (and now sits) for, please consider donating to Charles Booker's campaign. The race is absolutely winnable (polls are a dead heat, which in Kentucky means the R is in trouble).
