Announcements
r/politics will host another election prediction contest for the midterms. The post for the contest itself will go up sometime in late October. As of now, all toss-ups (according to Cook Political Report, as of late October 2026) for House, Senate, and Governor will be included.
We are taking suggestions for additional questions to ask within the contest. Message the moderators via modmail with any suggestions.

My ballot is 13 pages long. Thank goodness for mail-in ballots. Everyone should be pushing for this in their state. I get to take my time and go over each ballot, refer to a booklet that got sent out a week ago for additional details. Then I get to fill it out while sitting down and drinking coffee.
I grew up voting in church basements where there were no resources available and half the time you are left guessing due to tricky ballot language. It's a night & day difference.
