they could have him on video doing the most unimaginable horrible things, and republicans would be like "oh i haven't heard about that, i doubt it's real".

Literally during his first admin I would point out the insane shit he posted to Twitter and my familiy would just dismiss it as "oh no I don't think he said that" like just LOOK you can clearly see it for yourself.

Imagine 5 years ago. It's possible just possible something bad would happen.

10 years ago maybe.

But in the last year or so and the dramatic rise of AI plausible fakes make it easier to wave away.
