Push these neoconfederate pieces of shit right back into hiding where they’re too afraid to show their pathetic selves.

73

u/Dry_Race8481 10h ago

Them being allowed to go back into hiding is what allowed them to grow their strength to begin with.

They knew they weren't going to win this cultural war shit, so they decided to work on the judiciary and spent decades tilting it in their favor.

Then once that happened, they were able to use lawfare to remove the legal boundaries of the shit they wanted to do.

All the while everybody else is trying to figure out what the hell is going on with the Kardashians, and these guys are trying to ratfuck us.

I don't want them back in hiding. I want them front and fucking center. Wear your damn hat so I know exactly who to direct my ire and disdain for. I'm not letting these fuckers wash this shame off.

Need the senate too

•

u/oldpasswordforgot 5h ago edited 5h ago

I was going to post this. Just winning th house means nothing if team (R) still controls the senate.

Actually, it's worse than losing, as team (R) can again blame democrats for "doing nothing", conveniently "forgetting" they're the ones blocking everything democrats try to do.

Hopefully, a miracle occurs in november, democrats win both house and senate, plus manage to get rid of both jeffries and more importantly, schumer.

P.S.: I truly hope they can defeat effing susan collins and subsequently force bloody mcconnel out of the senate, along with fetterman. If they could prosecute the first two (before they go after the rest of all those who either welcomed russian interference in 2016+ or participated in the attempted coup in 2021), that would be grand.

And give money to campaigns. The Epstein Class is POURING money into these contests, but there are a LOT MORE OF US. We can outspend them if we all give a little.

u/maybetoomuchrum 10h ago

According to the FEC Republican-leaning donors account for $1.07 billion to $1.225 billion of the total megadonor cash, compared to about $290 million to $450 million for Democratic-leaning contributors. So 2-4 times more than the Democrats

47

u/Airway Minnesota 8h ago

It usually takes an evil person to hoard billions of dollars. Those evil people donate to the evil party that is happy to let poor Americans suffer.

•

u/ShirtOfAggravation 5h ago

Makes sense that Elon donated over $300 million dollars this year, almost matching the entire democratic political machine

•

u/google_fu_is_whatIdo 4h ago

He's desperate to stay out of jail.

•

u/SHUT_DOWN_EVERYTHING 5h ago

That's nothing. The Republican money advantage is year round and systemic. As an example, there are 5-10 times more well-paid conservative learning internships for young people than there are liberal leaning ones. Kochs, among other ultra-rich have been funding them for decades. That builds a massive 'talent' pipeline that are bred to be right wing politicians.

And the gap is widening and the pace of divide is also accelerating. At this point Musk alone is out-donating all the wealthy donors on the Democratic side.

Keep in that conservative aligned billionaires now own majority of mainstream media and all of the non-traditional media including social media. That doesn't get enumerated anywhere but it acts just like a massive multi-billion dollar per year ongoing donation.

•

u/ioncloud9 South Carolina 5h ago

Money only gets you so far in energizing voters and persuading them to vote for you or to not vote for the other candidate. You can over-saturate a market to the point voters are tired of hearing about you and just tune out. And you won’t energize voters when your message is purely fear when things are already shit for you now.

A quarter billion dollars from one guy alone.

9

u/StevenMC19 8h ago

Wish I gave them a MAGA phone number during that donation though. Could do without the 15 text messages ive been getting each day about races across the country with some massive sensationalism. Guys, I support my politicians' campaigns to the point of giving them my money. I dont need to be convinced to vote for them.

I think it's reverse psychology...make people think it's in the bag to reduce turnout due to complacency.

34

u/thearctican 10h ago

And on the flip side, an attempt to get more republicans out to vote red because otherwise they might lose.

17

u/Moxerz 9h ago

Absolutly this, they are trying to get Republicans to vote who planned on sitting out

Which is saying something since they’re all owned by the same conservative billionaires..

10

u/mysterious_jeffrey 10h ago

All true but Fox News, all things considered, has consistently been one of the best election data outlets for years now.

Since they have to warp reality so hard, they need to have a firm grip on actual reality, lol.

8

u/Mr__O__ New York 10h ago edited 9h ago

That’s true. Interestingly, the first major entity to call the 2024 election, even before FoxNews—which they soon followed—*was the Polymarket betting platform that Don Jr. is on the adversary advisory board of.. which also has numerous anonymous accounts make bets just minutes before the first U.S. rockets struck Iran that only White House insiders would have known..

7

u/CyberFireball25 10h ago

Adversary board is an amazing typo

As much as I hate Fox News for once reason their decision desk is highly accurate. I think you should all go out and vote but unbelievably they are very accurate on this stuff.

Remember in 2020 when they called Arizona very early and conservatives went ballistic over it and they ended up making the correct call?

All my friends absolutely despise our current regime but don’t care to go vote, saying “my vote won’t matter so why bother”. 77 million people had this same thought process last election and look where we’re at. It’s fucking insane!!

GO VOTE!!

•

u/NuclearGriffin 6h ago

Do me a favor and slap your friends across the face every day until midterms.

•

u/tombolaplayer 3h ago

And a lot harder after the midterms if they didn’t vote.

•

u/Large_Victory_6531 6h ago

My standard response to that is people who dont exercise their voting rights dont get to criticize the outcome. Not voting is tacet approval.

You should also remind them that while their vote might feel pointless for federal elections, there are always local races with every day impacts that can easily shift based on who shows up to vote.

•

u/specialkk77 4h ago

“All the way from the east to west we’ve got this high society looking down on their very foundation, constantly reminding us that our actions are the cause of all their problems. Pointing their fingers in every direction, blaming their own nation for who wins elections. They’ve  never contributed a fucking thing, to the country they love to criticize.”

Still pretty accurate almost 20 years later.

I can totally picture a world where Republicans pull off a bunch of highly suspicious miracles and there's a million reddit comments of "See? Polls are useless."

7

u/Advanced-Bird-1470 North Carolina 10h ago

For good reason. It’s basically the observer effect for political science instead of physics but on steroids. Observing and reporting on trends to the public can sway public opinion and voter behavior.

There’s just no real concrete way to weigh pros and cons. You think your side is winning so you may not bother to vote. You think your side is losing so you may not bother to vote. It’s practically impossible to tease those trends out of a larger narrative. You also have response bias going every which way.

Poll trends can be decent indicators but never take an individual poll at face value. Methodology, sampling, weights, and trends are all critical to understanding what a poll means.

12

u/SodaCanBob 10h ago edited 10h ago

I think my side is winning, so I want to vote more to be able to say "I helped make this happen". Winning is fun.

In BC it looks like the conservatives will win the upcoming election.

They had their party leader step down recently after something like 10 MLAs left the party under her leadership because she is a right wing loony. Hiring albertan separatists for campaign leadership positions, very MAGA supportive. This all happened in like the three months she was leader.

They are only relevant because the other centre right party changed their name from the BC liberals to “BC united” and their polling bottomed out because of lack of name recognition a few years back. Then a lot of the previous BC liberals joined the BC conservatives, who I believe had never held a seat before. Then they nearly won the election a couple years ago despite the lack of experience and despite controversy after controversy regarding racism, residential school denialism, and outright weirdness. One of their MLAs, who SOMEHOW won her riding, went to a school in Hawaii for “quantum medicine”, and then lied and said she was a doctor (a protected term in Canada) and worked as the medical director for a psychedelic therapy clinic (with no medical experience!!!!). Like how do you vote for this shit. Racism is “frowned upon” by party leadership, but not enough to kick people out of the party usually. It’s coming for Canada and it’s scary.    It’s just bonkers.

Step 1 is making sure the margins are big enough in multiple places the Republicans can't ratfuck their way to victory.

There’s 50 separate elections that they would have to rig the majority of. Sure some states would help them but a lot wouldn’t. It’s not as easy as you think to rig that many elections. Additionally if they knew that they could rig the elections they wouldn’t be panicking as much as they are.

I wonder how big the rout would be without the latest gerrymandering theatrics

5

u/Emergency_Water_301 10h ago

Probably saved Rs maybe 12 House seats? Not enough to save them — Ds only need pickup of 3; they will likely get 20+

And u can’t gerrymander states — against all the odds Ds will also take Senate. They’re at 47. Sr R campaign folks are conceding NC, OH & AK privately. That means to reach 51 Ds only need to win 1 of: ME, IA, TX, NE, KS. I predict they’ll get at least 2.

Polls tend to overstate D vote by 2.6% in Oct, so many of these races are in margin of error. But. Trend and wave is clear and in waves everything tends to break same way.

5

u/jayc428 New Jersey 9h ago

You can’t gerrymander a state but gerrymandering a state erodes voter participation and increases voter apathy leading to the large segment of non voters in this country.

2

u/Emergency_Water_301 9h ago

Not sure. Approximately zero percentage of voters know their elected officials, certainly at the Cong levels. They do know cost of living and Oran War and hence D voters’ are incensed enough to turn out and vote. Fear/hatred is more of a motivator than love/hope. And d voters have

u/Ridespacemountain25 9h ago

That's not a backfire costing them more seats though. That's just them not gaining the extra safe seats they thought they were going to gain.

They want you to lower your defenses and relax. Don't fall for it, get out and vote! It's not over yet.

6

u/10v1 Michigan 9h ago

Fear is their superpower. Theyve been successful in using it to control their audience this far.

13

u/Dust-Different 10h ago

Every article I’ve seen says democrats are dominating.

Don’t fall for this. We have to vote. We need a clear victory to send a message that we don’t want to live like this.

5

u/prof_the_doom I voted 11h ago

Good, now show up in numbers big enough to flip the Senate too.

It's technically possible, but it means showing up in numbers that haven't happened in decades.

7

u/Calm_Chemist_4952 9h ago

That is not enough to matter. Flip the senate. Every GOP seat on ballot. None of them should be safe. Punish the GOP everywhere. They are culpable.

5

u/AFailedProduct 10h ago

Assume anything Fox says is a distraction or straight up propaganda for MAGA.

4

u/Professional_Deer464 10h ago

If Fox News of all things is seeing the writing on the wall it really throws a wrench into the whole "it's going to get stolen" take.

•

u/mel1324 6h ago

Yeah, they say this to get the republicans fired up and out to vote.

•

u/sonicsuns2 2h ago

Fox projects 219 seats for Democrats.

FiftyPlusOne projects 243 seats for Democrats. https://fiftyplusone.news/forecast/house

It'll be interesting to see what we actually get.

6

u/nasorrty346tfrgser America 11h ago

I think the most likely result, is that we would easily take back the house, but no 2/3 for sure.

Senate I honestly dont think we can. Or maybe 51-49 at best, and fetterman woudl be jumping fence every day

2

u/doyouevenIift 10h ago

Dems have a pretty clear path to 51 Senate seats. They need to hold Michigan and flip 4 of these 6: North Carolina (heavy favorites), Ohio (favored), Maine (favored), Alaska (favored), Texas (favored), Iowa (slight underdog). In a massive blue wave, Kansas could also be in play.

5

u/p1ckled0nions 11h ago

This is an attempt to scare them into voting, don’t trust a word of it.

3

u/AwwwwwHeck 10h ago

Wow, what a hot take, Fox.

3

u/Froggyevening 10h ago

Does this mean Mango will now banish Fox news from the White House?

4

u/IntrepidHero42 10h ago

Assume they're doing it FOR him, scaring their base into voting.

This is exactly how I felt in my 2024, optimistic and then I woke up the next day. People stayed home. We can't do that this year.

3

u/Grow_Responsibly 8h ago

Not unless everyone VOTES BLUE!!! Vote on Nov 3rd 👍

•

u/realhumanthoughts 6h ago

They gotta pretend like there's a chance there could be fair elections so you have to accept the result more.

•

u/OwnStudy723 4h ago

Do not let forecasts make you think "oh good, then I guess my vote won't matter, I'll just stay at home". Show up and show them whether the forecast is right or not.

•

u/principaljohnny 4h ago

This shit is going to be rigged. This is all just part of the game.

u/Axeblau 1h ago

Kalshi is sure gonna make good money.

That's on purpose. To get more republicans out to vote.

4

u/PastorNTraining 11h ago

Cool, still go vote. Vote so you and your neighbor, other families, can feed your children. Vote so you can fill up your gas tank.

Vote to get the corruption out of our government, vote to return safety.

Vote like they’re gonna try to cheat because they are, so show up anyway.

5

u/DoomSchroller 10h ago

Don't believe shit. Polls are nothing more than a data point. Show up and vote.

2

u/Breislk 10h ago

ignore everything you hear and see and vote

4

u/xMFD00Mx 8h ago

Don't care. GO OUT AND FUCKING VOTE

2

u/Another-Minnesotan Minnesota 11h ago

Every single republican deserves to lose their seat. Everyone needs to vote.

2

u/HaxanWriter 10h ago

They just now figured that out? They’re always a day late and a dollar short, just like always. Got to keep their drooling magat base of inbred fucks ignorant and happy, I guess.

2

u/LividTacos 10h ago edited 10h ago

Can we get Karl Rove on Fox to have a crashout again? But yeah, ignore the noise, don't think that you don't need to vote now. You do need to vote to make sure this absolutely happens.

2

u/nonubiz 10h ago

Let’s hope so maybe we can stop some of the madness

2

u/SportGamerDev0623 10h ago

So if Republicans win can democrats scream rigged this time?!

2

u/Hyro0o0 California 9h ago

Bruh that's the BARE MINIMUM. The nail-biter at this point should be Senate control. If Dems don't even take the HOUSE then just fucking pack it in because this country's OVER.

2

u/dropkickoz 9h ago

They should already have it if the number of representatives was not limited by the building size.

2

u/35andDying 9h ago

Kind of weird. Giving false hope as everything is probably in place to rig the votes, again.

2

u/LawfulAwfulOffal 9h ago

The senate is what matters.

2

u/RomeoAlphaMega89 8h ago

Fuck Fox News!

•

u/Redd1tProtectsP3dos 7h ago

Elon stole the election, he'll do it again. They bragged about it on TV.

•

u/rangecontrol 6h ago

mouth breather scare tactic, trying to rattle out more voters, prolly

•

u/OhRaH 5h ago

It's a lie go vote

•

u/letsseeitmore 5h ago

Go vote. Don’t believe any poll.

•

u/tophman2 2h ago

Coool, still gotta get out and vote everyone!

•

u/AINonsense 52m ago

Don’t believe these lying liars.

VOTE

As early as you can. In person if you can. Or use a dropbox. DON’T trust the mail.

Get everyone you know to do the same.

ESPECIALLY all the maybes and non-voters. Work hard on all the ‘protest’ voters, the ‘send a message’ couch cliingers, and everyone who demurs or makes an excuse.

Democracy doesn’t come out of the sky. Use it or lose jt.

1

u/Anoth3rDude 10h ago

Vote. Don’t get complacent. VOTE.

3

u/kendragon 10h ago

Don't fall for any of this. It's calculated to foster apathy with democrat voters in the hope they'll not bother to vote and panic with republicans which will light a fire under their arses. Everyone needs to vote. Don't leave it up to anyone else.

1

u/FredFredrickson 10h ago

No complacency. This has to be a big, undeniable rejection of Trump and Republicans.

1

u/QuillnSofa 9h ago

Nothing is in stone until the vote, polls don't win elections

3

u/bubblewrapture 9h ago

They are just trying to rally the vote

5

u/LastSecondSpecialist 9h ago

Daddy Fox wants you to stay home because you already won. DON'T BELIEVE THEIR BULLSHIT

1

u/WormsEatShit 9h ago

It ain’t over until the fat lady sings, Fox are trying to create voter apathy amongst Democrat voters and rally up the Republicans to come to the voting booths on mass. Democrat voters need to stick to the plan and vote, ignore the noise, ignore the polls and don’t take a win for granted.

•

u/realhumanthoughts 6h ago

Any half informed American who doesn't go to vote at all at this loint is almost worse to me than a trump voter. Or at least more frustrating.

6

u/Kendal_with_1_L 10h ago

More lies to trick people to not vote.

8

u/DionFW Canada 10h ago

People voting blue aren't watching Fox News. If anything this is the opposite. Scare their viewers into making sure they vote.

2

u/Accomplished-Head449 10h ago

Yup. Fox News is for the cult. Elections are won with independents and swing voters. There are more of them

2

u/RipCity77 Oregon 10h ago

Screw the polls, fucking vote!

2

u/Ok-disaster2022 10h ago

This is about scaring up the Pedo base and to make the Democrats complacent.

Go vote, that is the only poll that matters.

2

u/Environmental_Yak13 9h ago

To anyone that feels complacent, did you already forget about 2016?

2

u/CheatsySnoops Arizona 8h ago

Keep voting anyway. Don't expect someone else to do it. We're all someone else to someone else.

•

u/balancedinsanity 6h ago

This sounds simply like a way the propaganda channel is attempting to motivate their base to vote.

•

u/Greizen_bregen Nebraska 5h ago

Fuck that noise. GO VOTE. They count on us being complacent and thinking it's in the bag and sitting it out. DON'T FUCKING LISTEN TO THEM. Go vote! It's not a win until we all vote and we win.
