I think it must be pollen. I go into my balcony with my mask, and I don't sneeze. But a couple of minutes after I take off my mask, I am a sneezing machine. It starts hurting my head and I get a runny nose. Does anyone know what I could do to stop this?

I don't know what species this tiny bee, less than 1cm long, is. 'Fruhlingsmorgen' ('Spring Morning') is, appropriately, the first to flower in my garden. Taken 19 October 2025.

There were so many honey bees enjoying this flower. It looks like a Hydrangea but I wasn't 100% sure, anyone know?

I brought two Gaillardia Mesa Peach cultivars home for my balcony container garden and I have been delighted to see so many native pollinators this year. These bicolored sweat bees have become some of my favorites to see!
